‘Cause that’s what I’ll have to do to keep me away from you

I got to sleep in a little. Crystal was up early, because Chaucer wanted to throw up under the bed directly under her head. I think I heard it, but I’m pretty sure I fell back asleep.

We’re in the warm part of the year. You see there’s a few different conversations on the plains – lots of snow last night. Wow it’s windy. Damn cold out there. Oh mah gawd, it’s hot out there today. We need the rain. We hear them all at work.

Yep, another hot one today. I think we’re expecting to hit around 84° today. Same as yesterday. Then it slowly goes down degree by degree for a couple days. then it’ll shoot up. Everyone at work is in awe that I’m just able to sit outside in the sun and heat. I’m finally acclimatized to here, and I have years of experience with humidity. We don’t get a lot here.

We really have no plans for the day. Later, we’ll talk about what we want for dinner. So I may or may not go and grab a pizza or something. We’ll see what we have in the freezer. But for right now it’s not too bad. Just have to turn on the living room fan.

The party raged and the guests were screaming

Good motherfucking morning. It’s Saturday, and the wind is still happening out there. But it’s sunny, and not too many clouds in the sky.

The alarm went off this morning. I didn’t realize that the alarm was still set to my wake up time for Friday. So it went off this morning at 6am. I did my best to change the alarm so I could go back to sleep. But all I could do while using the force was change the current time an hour a head. So I asked the Great One beside me, if she could wake me up in an hour.

She agreed.

I clung to her like a spider monkey for another hour while she scrolled TikTok. Maybe she found some really neat videos. Maybe we’ll find out tonight.

Good morning. We’re awake. I was up a little before the alarm went off, when my mind asked the question – did you set the alarm for 6 or 6:30? Welp, the alarm went off at 6, for the record. I think I slept pretty good. With an extra couple of hours, I feel a little groggy, but not too bad.

If I have to admit, I am a little nervous. I’m putting up a brave front with jokes and all that. But every day is a bit of the unknown. So that’s what’s making me nervous. I know it’ll just be a busy day, and BossLady, assigned a third person today, which will totally help.

It’ll be a good, but busy day. And we’ll get through it.

Right now though, I just wanna get through some coffee. Happy Saturday everyone!

Working double time on the seduction line she’s one of a kind, she’s just mine, all mine

Good morning motherfuckers! It’s time to get up and greet the day! Pippin begged, so she’s on the table looking out the back door. It’s warmish out there, but it’s windy. I’ll take it. It’s warmish out.

Went to bed at the time that would indicate that I’d be getting up at 4:30. I was just too tired to stay awake. Of course for the first minute or two, I was wide awake. Then I shifted just a little bit, and I was out like a light. I think I got up in the night, and I know I was up just a little bit early. But here we are, the sun is just about up, and yeah, the day has started.

Last night we went back to the restaurant, and had a plate of fries with a burger. It was pretty yummy. And filling. It’s been a while. Afterwards, we just came home. I played a little bit of NMS, and Crystal took a bath.

And now here we are. I’ll be working late tonight, and for the rest of next week as well. It’s ok, hopefully, the day will move a little quicker than yesterday morning. We’ll see.

Just chillin’ on the weekend, weekend sippin’ something on the cheap end, cheap end

Awake, and waiting for the coffee to finish brewing. On the weekend. It was glorious to sleep in today. Even though, I was up early to hop over to the bathroom. I came back to bed, and fell right asleep again.

It’s dark out, but doesn’t but doesn’t feel like it’s too cold or windy out there. I’ll check the weather app a little later. I don’t think it’s supposed to snow or anything like that today. I was at work before the snow started, and the next day after it had snowed. All the old people in the town that come to the store, aren’t really complaining about the snow they’re just ready for spring.

I am too.

But, this winter isn’t done with us yet. I don’t remember if I wrote out my theory here. I think we have at least one or two more cold snaps that we’ll have to deal with, along with one, possibly 2 more snow storms.

Mother Nature isn’t done with us yet.

Not too much on deck for us today. In a little while, I’ll make the shopping list, and we’ll head out to SlightlyBiggerTown and do it. I’ll have to wake up a little more. It’ll be a nice drive I think today.
