All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world

Good morning. The household is awake. I opened the back door, and put the table at it. Pippin was already on the table, so she got her table ride over to the door.

Work was long yesterday. For the most part it wasn’t too bad. Unrelenting at some points, but not too bad. Until the end. With 3 minutes to go, we had a couple of customers, that ended up adding another 10 minutes on to our times.

But we got out relatively on time, and man did we run to get out of the store. Ha! I got home and had a wonderful poutine dinner. After dinner, we didn’t do too much of anything.

Today will be some flurry of activity. Chores, and brunch. We won’t be going over to Shady Acres, as my dad got home from the hospital on Friday, and we just want him to rest. If possible, we’ll head over there next Sunday.

So it’s just a relaxing day, before heading back to work tomorrow. There might even be a nap, but I won’t promise that.

A rare weekend shift has appeared. Yep, that’s right. In a couple of hours, I’ll be heading into work for the day. It’ll be a long day, I think. But I’ll make it through. Always moving forward. It’s supposed to be sunny, and breezy all day. That’s ok. Nice and sunny? I’ll deal with the wind for sun all day.

I slept like the dead last night. Up just a couple of times. Nothing major, I didn’t even get out of bed. Just a quick time check, and I was back in sleepy-time.

I had an idea for dinner, and it pretty much turned out like I had imagined in. Last night we had nachos. And they were good. Meat, taco chips, lots of cheese. Man, it was good. We ate it all like feral raccoons.

TGI-motherfucking F. It’s finally Friyay. Course since I’m the “floater” at work, I’m working tomorrow. Yay. I’m not looking forward to it, but that’s ok, it’s a paycheck.

I’m home from a slow morning/early afternoon. We got everything done, and still had time to just be bored at work today. Even more so, we had a third person there today. Least I’m not him, he’s there until 4.

I got a text from my mom, she made it to CapitalCity, and picked up my dad from the hospital. He’s ready to come home. So they’ll be home in a few hours. I’m sure he’ll sleep all the way home, and then probably most of the weekend.

I’m gonna try to stay awake again for the afternoon. I crashed last night. Least I can sleep in a little bit before I have to be in tomorrow. It’ll just be a long day. 2 people, 8.5 hours and then it’ll be the weekend – for a day. Then I’ll be back to work again. yippee
