Home Video – John Wick 3

I watch, so you don’t have to. This weeks submission is John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum. Wow. What a shit show.

Now the first one had a story line. It was fresh and new, and brought a new way to tell a good, violent popcorn flick. I don’t remember the second one at all. To be honest, I’m not sure that I’ve even seen it.

However, it all changes with Chapter 3. Razor thin plot, Halle Berry was completely useless in this. And the fight scenes? WAAAY too long. I think the final fight was like 20-30 minutes. That’s pretty much 10 minutes too long.

It also unapologetically sets up what I hope is the final sequel.

So in other words, don’t waste your time. Just watch John Wick 1, and you’ll have more fun then the third outing.

Home Video – Schitt’s Creek

Who has two thumbs and just ugly cried through the last episode of the last season of Schitts Creek?

Me.

Then I made the mistake of watching the retrospective after show.

What an great show. It took a little while for me to get into it, then it seemed to just fly by. In my defense, I was not mentally prepared for the final episode. I though there was one more season.

So yeah. Now I have to find another no think show. Hopefully I won’t get too attached to it.

I saw a werewolf drinkin’ a piña colada at Trader Vic’s

Hey Netflix nerds! Just a quick pop in to chit chat about the TV show I finished watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine. That’s right, 7 seasons, 143 episodes of the Fox/NBC show. I’m really hoping once they film and show the final season on real TV, they’ll move it over to Netflix so us mere mortals can finish it as well.

But, after 143 episodes, I finally figured out the huge breakout star of the show was:

It’s Cheddar, Captain Holt’s liveable corgi. He steals all the scenes he’s in. Superb.

So I’ve now moved on to Schitt’s Creek. We’ll see if I’ll stick with this one. Two episodes in. It’s ok so far.

Until next time Netflix nerds!

Because this girl means so much to me
And now we on the floor and she touchin’ me

So yeah, I’m a little bit of an idiot. Just watching the wedding episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and I’ll be honest, I teared up a little.

I think I’m tired. I only get really emotional when I’m tired. But it was a really good episode.

Ok, shower time.

I 🫀 you.

Home Video – Ocean’s Eleven

After a craptastic day of work, and after dinner, I settled on something to watch. I open up Netflix, and was very happy that Ocean’s Eleven. It’s a feel good movie. And also the only movie that I’ve ever ever watched with the DVD commentary on. It’s an amazing no think movie. It’s a feel good movie for sure.

It’s nice to just sit back and let the stress of the day just slide off of me. It was a long day with a few bad things that happened. Hopefully tomorrow, we’ll craft a plan to figure it all out.

Back to the movie!
