See people rocking, hear people chanting feeling hot, hot, hot Shawshank, March 6, 2022 I think the snow is done for a while. I can’t find any actual measurements, because we’re so small, but I’d guess probably 15ish centimetres over the last 2 days. I dunno, I’m still getting used to the metric system. I do know I don’t like the spread out over so many days. Damn just dump two feet in 24 hours, and call it a day! It’s a grey day here. Bright but grey. There’s not too much wind, and I think the snow is just falling ever so slowly. Like so slowly that it’s not even piping up to say it’s actually snowing. I got up this morning and shovelled the side walk. I’m not gonna miss that in a couple of months. Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. I was given a task the day before, and I worked on that for the few hours I was at work. Before leaving work on Friday, BossLady said she might be in town Saturday morning, because she was going to celebrate some friends birthdays. At the time she said that. The weather app said it was going to start snowing around 7. Thankfully, it didn’t start snowing until later, and she didn’t show up at work. I just wanted a day to breathe, and thankfully I got that, and could move stuff around, on my own time and let ideas pop in and to try different things. I did that. I think it turned out pretty good. The last co-worker I had hated whatever I did, so that trained me not to do anything out on the showroom floor. Like I told BossLady, I really tried to make sure everything either matched or complemented everything else. I’m proud of what I did. I think I did pretty good. Ok I’ve written a novel here, time to refill the coffee, and prep the chores. Happy Sunday, all you great people! Life blogbloggerchore daycoffeejournallazy SundaymorningsTinyTown
Life I saw Satan laughing with delight October 1, 2023 Good froggy morning. Yep, again it’s a little froggy out there. And it feels unusually warm out there for how it looks. It’s another Sunday here in TinyTown. The quick short shift passed by as quickly as it could’ve. I did some cleaning, and a little organizing. I passed on… Read More
Life I’ve been thinking about setting my house on fire June 10, 2026 Yesterday afternoon we did day three of tornado watch. Last night we were only under an orange warning. It got a little windy, then no wind at all. Then it got dark. DARK. Then the wind started up again. Then, really, nothing. We got some big fat drizzle for like… Read More
Life Growth is painful, growth is hard it is beautiful, and it can leave you feeling hungover August 13, 2026 Good morning. It’s a slightly cooler, way more gray outside this am. I opened the curtains in the kitchen, and was greeted by five crows, and a squirrel. We watched them for a little while, then I made us a couple cups of coffee. Back to work today – for… Read More
