I remember doing the Time Warp

Good morning! Happy Thursday! It’s almost Pre-Friday! Almost. There. You can do it. It’s bright, sunny, and I assume somewhat chilly out there, because that’s what Canada does.

Today is gonna be a long day. Trips to two SlightyBiggerTowns. Each about 2 hours away, but it’s in a rather large loop, but it’ll still be a long day.

The German lessons are going pretty good so far. I unlocked level one yesterday, and I’m still in first place, but I know that’ll change, and I’m ok with that.

But for now, coffee. Happy Thursday!

Madness takes its toll

Hey I am. Awake. I don’t think I moved at all last night. So my back is just a little tweaky. But that’s ok, we have to wait for Canadian Tire to call us, telling us the pellets are in. I don’t have to worry about lifting anything for at least a few days.

Coffee.

Yesterday afternoon, I registered to vote. Lemme tell you, voting wise, I’d rather vote in the United States. You only have two choices. There’s like 6 or 7 in this province. Only 2 or 3 actually matter, but there’s too many choices. For the love of dog, just tell us who to vote for! Haha

It looks like another gray day here. I discovered, it’s not really cloud cover here. A lot of it is smoke coming from BC, who’s is coming from Oregon. It’s still grey and depressing.

My mom and grandmother bickered all day yesterday. My grandmother who went to bed at like 6 the day before yesterday, was up and dressed at 7 am. Which means she was probably up 6 am. So she was wicked over tired. She didn’t have a good day yesterday. I feel bad for her some days with her dementia. it’s really has to be just as hard for her, as it is for the people around her. I can see habits in her that my mom has, but doesn’t realize it.

Wow this post kinda turned dark and sad didn’t it? I apologize for that. I didn’t mean for that to happen. But sometimes it does.

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Today is the first day in about a month or maybe more, that I actually slept through the night. All night.

Today, we were supposed to go in to SlightlyBiggerTown to pick up wood pellets for the stove by my dad came home last night saying change of plan were going to go Sunday. Great. The original plan was we were supposed to go Friday. If we followed that plan, the pellets would’ve already been here…

So I slept through the night and didn’t fall asleep at a crazy hour, and I read some more of Ship of Theseus. I made it to the interlude and decided to go to sleep. I’m really enjoying it, even though I’m still confused. I think I’ll keep it. Haha

But I do have another “what did Shawshank watch on VHS this time?” It’s a classic, and very well known, and quotable, so I’m going to make this a little more difficult for y’all. Only 2 pictures. Take life from tomorrow, cause I’ve burned out today

Good morning! Here’s a coffee cup salute to everyone! We made it to Friday! I knew we would!now y’all just have to make it through the shift with out beating anyone to death with a spatula. It’s gonna be hard, but I know that you can do it. You gotta have faith, playa!

I had a pretty good sleep. One dream in particular, waking me up, because I was annoyed. Lol. Crystal and I went out to eat. It was a place we’ve been to before, but everything changed about the place. It turned in to a shitshow. We ordered, they gave us extra fried fish which we didn’t order. Then they lost our order. Then we got up to dance I think, and they gave away our table. Dream me lost it. Then we were at a wedding and we were all supposed to get money, but it was only the rich people that got the money while the normal people like us got nothing.

Ok let’s play another round of “what did Shawshank watch on VHS this time?” This one should be easy, if you have any taste in cinematic genius.

Now, if you can’t figure it out with those two pictures I don’t know if we should continue being friends. But I’d understand if you didn’t, but I’d also say you need to watch this movie. It’s a great popcorn flick, full of mindless fun, and cheese! But if you need one more hint, I’ve got you fam. Here’s the last pictures, and it’s a doozy!

Awake! It’s almost Pre-Friday. Almost. You can make it. One of the talking heads on the local news is talking about the NFL and opening day. This guy is a moron. He’s talking about how good the Cowboys are gonna be.

The. Cowboys.

I’ll let that sink in.

America’s Team.

I’ll still root for the Patriots. I’ve rooted for them for 20 years. Most of that time, they’ve had rebuilding years. This year will be the biggest one they’ll have. No Tom Brady. It’s gonna be different for sure.

Ok let’s stop talking about SportsBall.

I have an announcement;

I’m wearing jogging pants. And plan to go out in public wearing them later. Public. I don’t think I’ll ever take them off. Ever.

Yesterday, we drove to SlightlyBiggerTown to do some grocery shopping. I ran over to the local second hand store. Hoping, and dreaming (literally, I had a dream about this), that is find the Twilight Saga. Spoiler alert – I didn’t, but I did find The Hunger Games, and Pet Cemetery.

I started to read it last night. It’s like totally NOT scary at all. I mean the first 5 or 6 chapters are normal. The dude is drinking beer with his neighbour across the road. I keep you updated.
