His eyes are cold and restless, his wounds have almost healed Shawshank, January 19, 2024 Good morning, good afternoon my friends. I didn’t feel like posting at 4:40 in the morning, so I figured that I would defer it to this afternoon, and now here I am! While the week just seemed to fly by, it’s been a long week. I actually worked 5 days this week, after all the holidays. Boom, right back to it. So that took a little to get used to this week! I’m a little sore today. I slipped and fell yesterday afternoon, after checking the mail. I got home, and emailed the town. I just got an email back saying that it was sanded the day before, but they send someone out to double check it. They were actually working on it as I was again checking the mail. Yay for communication! Not too much going this afternoon/this weekend. I don’t think we’re going anywhere, so I don’t really plan on straying too far from the house. In good news, the wind has died down, and it’s a lot warmer out there. That’s very nice. I don’t mind the cold too much, but the wind is another thing of its own. Ok you’re all caught up. Let’s call it a day. Happy Friyay everyone! Life blogbloggercoffeeFriyayjournalmorningsTinyTownup early

Yes, that’s right, it’s Thursday. The red headed stepchild of the week. It should technically be the weekend, but it’s not. But we’re close. I slept like the dead last night. It was… Read More
Life A jumpin’ up, fallin’ down don’t misunderstand me May 5, 2023 With Chaucer trying his hardest to wake me up to feed him, he was up to hijinks this morning. He was clawing at the floor on my side of the bed, close to my head. Then shortly before the alarm was supposed to go off, he decided that he should throw up. In the bedroom,… Read More
Life Sundown in the Paris of the prairies August 1, 2020August 1, 2020 Another day done. About the only thing I really did today was walk down to the grocery store to pick up the local newspaper. It comes out every Friday, but I was actually busy yesterday and didn't have the time to pick it up before the town rolled up the sidewalks. That's Main St, by the… Read More
