I’m easy like Sunday morning, whoa Shawshank, October 16, 2022 I woke up at one point, and the little kitten, Pippin was snuggled in between us. I gave her pets and loves, then tried to roll over it something, and she got up. I think she only got up to go on to her bed I set up, at the foot of the bed, probably 2 feet from Chaucer’s. So I think they slept on the bed together. The first time all of us have slept on the bed. Pretty cool, if you ask me! Yep, today is Sunday. The day of chores. I’ll probably start that in a little bit. Eventually, I’ll prep for Toaster’s run this afternoon. Right now, I’m watching the cats almost stalk each other, in the slowest dance I’ve ever seen. It’s kind of cute. I think they’re finally starting to get used to each other. There’s less and less hissing every day. Did we just become best friends?! And with that, coffee time. Happy Sunday y’all! Life blogbloggerchore daycoffeejournallazy SundaymorningsTinyTown
Life Go, go, go, go, go, go go, shorty it’s your birthday August 19, 2023 Good morning fellow humans. I trust you all had a good rest cycle over the last few hours. I slept. It feels like I closed my eyes, and then the alarm went off. So yeah, I slept, but it didn’t feel like I got any sort of rest. But here… Read More
Life You bite my lip just for the taste September 24, 2024 Morning. Terrible sleep last night. I’d just about get to sleep, and it felt like I was punched or poked really hard in my side, causing me to jolt awake. My side is a little sore this morning. Then I just simply kept waking up. Randomly through out the night/morning…. Read More
Life Yeah, it’s been a long night and the mirror’s tellin’ me to go home August 16, 2021 Good morning. I went to sleep on top of all the blankets, because it was still about 80 in The Flat. When the alarm went off, I was under the top layer of blankets. It’s totally comfortable out right now, but that’s going to change – to hot. I believe… Read More
Hello, my darlings. Happy Sunday. The sunshine has returned to TinyTown, and there’s a big, bright sunrise out there. Not yesterday’s blustery pinks, just pure sunlight today. Will I go out? Maybe. Probably for about as long as it takes us to walk over to Shady Acres this afternoon. At least it’s not the Compound. Pippin just popped out of her “cave” under the dining room table, swirling out from under my jacket with a perfect Tokyo Drift impression. It took exactly two weeks for her life to return to normal; she spent the night in bed with us for the first time last night. She’s reached a level of pure “I don’t give a shit” at this point. Yesterday afternoon, she ran at Chaucer several times to start shit. We had to do the psppsppsppsps thing at them last night. Chaucer was in asshole mode and tried to assert his position as rightful King of the Big Brown Bag. Spoiler Alert: He is not the rightful king. However, by the end of the night, everything must’ve been resolved between them. The two shared the couch for a few minutes, and she finished the night by coming into bed with us. Shawshank set out a hoody for her on the foot of the bed. Each cat has their own little spot on the bed now. We lounged about the house yesterday. I had a shitty sleep, and we had nowhere to be, so I did little more than change out of jammies. We watched a lot of TV while I fought to stay awake. Aside from the walk to Shady Acres later today, we can expect more of the same. Shawshank has the laundry started, and we’re baking a cake for dessert. Chaucer has entered his slug phase and has wedged his squishy body between the two of us. Eventually, I’ll have to put some clothes on. I can’t be walking around TinyTown in my jammies. Reply
