I’m easy like Sunday morning, whoa Shawshank, October 16, 2022 I woke up at one point, and the little kitten, Pippin was snuggled in between us. I gave her pets and loves, then tried to roll over it something, and she got up. I think she only got up to go on to her bed I set up, at the foot of the bed, probably 2 feet from Chaucer’s. So I think they slept on the bed together. The first time all of us have slept on the bed. Pretty cool, if you ask me! Yep, today is Sunday. The day of chores. I’ll probably start that in a little bit. Eventually, I’ll prep for Toaster’s run this afternoon. Right now, I’m watching the cats almost stalk each other, in the slowest dance I’ve ever seen. It’s kind of cute. I think they’re finally starting to get used to each other. There’s less and less hissing every day. Did we just become best friends?! And with that, coffee time. Happy Sunday y’all! Life blogbloggerchore daycoffeejournallazy SundaymorningsTinyTown
Life Your eyes get me drunk, stronger than hundred proof June 2, 2026 It’s a windy, blowy morning out there. It looks and sounds chilly out there this morning. Yesterday’s weather wasn’t too bad. It felt like it got warmer last night. I think it was just the wind dying down. Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. Not as busy as I thought… Read More
Life That only us command February 21, 2025 Mornin. It took a while to fall asleep. I just wasn’t high enough. It’s all good I finally fell asleep, after having to get up and going to the bathroom. I think I was just slightly too warm as I tried to fall asleep. My brain flicked from one thought… Read More
Life With a load of iron ore twenty-six thousand tons more July 15, 2021 Good morning class. I was up slightly before my alarm. The birds sounded like they were singing the song of their people right outside my window. And I was chilly. You see it was warm last night so I only got under the top layer of blankets. When I’m 3/4… Read More
Hello, my darlings. Happy Sunday. The sunshine has returned to TinyTown, and there’s a big, bright sunrise out there. Not yesterday’s blustery pinks, just pure sunlight today. Will I go out? Maybe. Probably for about as long as it takes us to walk over to Shady Acres this afternoon. At least it’s not the Compound. Pippin just popped out of her “cave” under the dining room table, swirling out from under my jacket with a perfect Tokyo Drift impression. It took exactly two weeks for her life to return to normal; she spent the night in bed with us for the first time last night. She’s reached a level of pure “I don’t give a shit” at this point. Yesterday afternoon, she ran at Chaucer several times to start shit. We had to do the psppsppsppsps thing at them last night. Chaucer was in asshole mode and tried to assert his position as rightful King of the Big Brown Bag. Spoiler Alert: He is not the rightful king. However, by the end of the night, everything must’ve been resolved between them. The two shared the couch for a few minutes, and she finished the night by coming into bed with us. Shawshank set out a hoody for her on the foot of the bed. Each cat has their own little spot on the bed now. We lounged about the house yesterday. I had a shitty sleep, and we had nowhere to be, so I did little more than change out of jammies. We watched a lot of TV while I fought to stay awake. Aside from the walk to Shady Acres later today, we can expect more of the same. Shawshank has the laundry started, and we’re baking a cake for dessert. Chaucer has entered his slug phase and has wedged his squishy body between the two of us. Eventually, I’ll have to put some clothes on. I can’t be walking around TinyTown in my jammies. Reply
