Been working like a dog, tryna please ’em all tryna put another comma in the bank

Shawshank, July 18, 2026

Good Saturday morning my friends. It’s bright and sunny, and if birds existed, they’d be chirping. But since they don’t, it’s unusually quiet outside. Podrick didn’t wake me up today. I just pretty much just woke up. I was a little warm. Ok, a lot warm. So after a couple of minutes, I rolled and got up. I forgot to pre-make the coffee, so I had to make it this morning.

It’s going to be a busy day. We’ll be heading into OtherSlightlyBiggerTown for funsies. Originally, we were going to find a USB to USB-C adaptor. However Crystal found her adaptor, and did some weird, weird things with her microphone last night. So, we’ll go and check out the second hand store, the new dollar store that opened. We’ll hit up the hardware store for some disposable snakes to clear the bathtub drain. Possibly, we’ll pick up some Subway as well.

Tomorrow, though, we’ll be doing something fun. We’re heading to a rodeo! Yee-haw. I think it’ll be a fun afternoon, so I’ll start the chores today sometime. Then, this evening, it’s Saturday Nights Main event, and this time it actually has a pretty good card. So yeah, big beefy men slapping beef? Sports entertain me!

But before anything can happen, I need more coffee. I hope all y’all have a great weekend. It’s shaping up to be a beautiful weekend – weatherwise.

It’s Wednesday. Right? Yes. Yes, it’s Wednesday. We’re awake. A little bit of chaos this morning as Podrick knew that I had to get up, so he was being 100% Podrick this morning. The toy he didn’t touch at all yesterday, was being played with this morning. Food has been…

Podrick let us (me) sleep in! I only really felt him once. He landed on my hip, and quickly moved on with what he was doing. He came back up on the bed, and was close to me. I opened an eye and looked at the clock: 7:44. Time to…

Weird dreams last night. Stephen King only write his first 3 or 4 books, and was just a small time short story writer. No one had heard of him. I had a book of his short stories, with like half of them missing. Crystal had written in some from memory,…
