It’s Friyay!

It’s been a long week, but the individual shifts have been moving relatively quickly. So that’s a very good thing. One more shift and 2 beautiful, glorious days off.

I totally crashed last night. I picked out the sleep soundtrack for the evening and got into bed. I was then told that I forgot to shut the light off. Ugh! End of the world! I had to, blindly, find the remote and shut off the light. You don’t need to know the remote is on my side, so I can shut the light off whenever I want. But I usually forget.

So, long story short; I picked out the sleep soundtrack and got comfortable – that’s when I had to shut the light off. Boom! light off. I made it about 3-4 minutes before my mind was screaming reset! reset! So I reset the soundtrack of the night, and was out, I believe, pretty quickly after that.

I awake this morning, actually having a dream. For some reason I was in Hawaii. I don’t know why I was there, but I was there with a group. I couldn’t tell you who was in the group, as I was separated from them, and I guess, the main goal was to get back to them. Then, since I couldn’t find the group, started looking for a tattoo shop. Because that’s what you do when you can’t find your people. The next hurdle that I faced, was out of the two (I think) shops that I went to, they weren’t taking walk-ins.

Then I woke up.

It’s a bright and sunny morning out there! Woot! Beats the mostly cloudy and gray days the last couple. Hopefully it sticks around, but not with the oppressive heat.
