There’s a real good chance that I’m gonna burn the whole town down

It’s day light here again. That means Podrick is awake and being an asshole. I was first woken up around 5am, with my brain trying to identify the sounds I was hearing. Once I figured out what he was doing, I was able to get back to sleep. I dozed for about another 40 or so minutes through his shenanigans, or at least tried to.

So we got up, and I got the lights on, and the coffee going. The cats have been fed. Podrick is lounging on the shelf in front of the big window. Pippin is still in the bedroom dining on the bed.

It was supposed to snow here yesterday. We were expecting like 5-6”. But nothing really accumulated. It was much too windy, and the snow, when it started, was like just about 2 hours late, so of course nothing really landed. A customer was saying about an hour and a half south, they got about a foot of snow.

Back to work again this afternoon. And I’m opening tomorrow, so I have to set my alarm right now, so I don’t forget. There, the alarm is set. Everybody’s working for the weekend. Me? I’m working for Monday. That’s my next day off.
