Burned out like the prom queen we’re all mirrors and smoke rings

It took a hot minute to fall asleep last night. I wasn’t high enough. The sleep daddy that I chose wasn’t doing it for me. After trying, and resetting the video 4 or 5 times, I put it in one that I know would work. I closed my eyes – oh and let me say, last night every time I closed my eyes, they felt like they were open still. Really fucked with my mind last night. It wasn’t too nice, lemme tell you. I only had to reset the new video once, maybe twice.

I had a plan, that if I woke up in the night, to go to the bathroom, I’d give a snack to Podrick, to see if that would help him sleep in just a little. Well, of course I wouldn’t get up last night.

I’m actually happy that I didn’t. I slept through until I looked at my phone, 6:30? perhaps. Not too shabby.

So this will be a short one this morning. Back to work for the all-day Sunday shift. I woke up this morning, and the first thought I had was, it’s gonna be a good day.

So, I’m gonna have a good day. I hope y’all do as well. I’ll be finishing up Elimination Chamber when I get home. I just can’t really surf the information super highway until I finish the PPV. Spoilers and the such.

Chaucer has been singing his opera since about 3 am. Randomly. I was able to get mostly back to sleep, but my poor Crystal has been up since the beginning.

It’s gonna be a long day. For both of us.

It snowed in the night. It was mowing when I got off work last night. I drove down the middle of the highway. I’m going into work a little early to do snow removal, and to do a task the opener couldn’t do yesterday. Yay.

Last night about 15 minutes before we closed the phone rang. The other employee picked it up. English isn’t his first language, so I took the phone. The guy on the other end was saying that the roads were terrible, and would be arriving about 10 minutes after we closed. I told him if he arrived after hours we wouldn’t be able to help him. But we’ll need gas. Sorry man no one is going to be here. He tells me, and I quote: “you’re a fucking cocksucker, and I’m going to post online about this.”

I texted BossLady, so she’s aware of it and I moved on with my day. We were just cleaning our cars off at 10 after. No one. Oh well.

Back to work today should be home shortly after 6. Yay.

Yep, I’m up. I was originally up at 5, but I managed to convince my mind that getting up at five would be overkill. Getting up at 6 is overkill, but here we are this morning.

Yesterday was a busy day, but I still managed to fit in a nap. We travelled to SlightlyBiggerTown for supplies. We hit the grocery store, the discount store, the pharmacy, and the weed store, finally stopping at Subway on the way back to TinyTown.

After the groceries were put away, and the subs consumed. My body said it was time to lay down, by making my eyelids so heavy, I couldn’t keep them open.

Post nap, we headed out to the little restaurant, and had a really good dinner. Stuffed full, we came home and hunkered down onto the couch. We watched some Netflix, and then watched some Tubi, then we went to bed.

Now we’re awake. It’s gonna be a scorcher out there I think. Time to get ready for work now. Happy Saturday y’all.

I’m talking about everybody getting crunk, crunk

Good morning everyone. It’s morning. It looked like it rained yet again in the early hours. Hopefully it’ll be a nice day out there. I also hope that work will be problem free, and the time will move quickly.

We climbed into bed last night. I sunk into the mattress, and I don’t think I woke up until about 5:30 this morning. It felt like a really good sleep.

Working the Saturday shift today. I’ll be going in a little early to make sure I get the opening stuff done as quickly as possible. But that’s in a few hours, I’m happy to sip on some coffee and watch some murders on Dateline. I’ll probably shower in a little bit.

Chaucer is stalking around looking for a lap, but I’ll be getting up in a sec. So I should go and do my morning stuff. Happy Saturday y’all!

Good morning. We’re awake. I was up a little before the alarm went off, when my mind asked the question – did you set the alarm for 6 or 6:30? Welp, the alarm went off at 6, for the record. I think I slept pretty good. With an extra couple of hours, I feel a little groggy, but not too bad.

If I have to admit, I am a little nervous. I’m putting up a brave front with jokes and all that. But every day is a bit of the unknown. So that’s what’s making me nervous. I know it’ll just be a busy day, and BossLady, assigned a third person today, which will totally help.

It’ll be a good, but busy day. And we’ll get through it.

Right now though, I just wanna get through some coffee. Happy Saturday everyone!
