Playin’ with the Queen of Hearts knowin’ it ain’t really smart

Good Friday morning my friends. It’s a bright and sunny day out there so far. Pippin is crying to have one of us open the back door. I keep telling her sooner or later, the table will have to go away. But today won’t be the day. I’ll set the table up a little later.

Again, I slept like the dead. I really kind of like second shift. I can sleep in a little bit, yet still go to sleep a little later. I think that’s a pretty good deal.

We had a very good dinner last night. Last Saturday, or Friday, I can’t remember anymore – when we went grocery shopping, we found some jalapeño and bacon meatballs. Well, we consumed them last night, with some pasta, and some Alfredo sauce. The meatballs were good. Just not good enough to get us to buy them again.

As you can tell by the featured image, we got to play host to the Northern Lights. Again, we played host to the beautiful dancing lights. As soon as Crystal said “it’s on, grab your phone”, I also grabbed the little tripod. So that’s what I used to take all my pictures. Sone of them actually have a 30 second exposure. So some turned out pretty good.

So leave the light on baby, and unlock your backdoor I’ll be comin’ through that way tonight to love you for sure

A good groggy morning to all y’all beautiful people out there in the interwebs. Coffee has been brewed and the first cups have been poured for us. Chaucer is on my lap, and I woke up at one point, completely thinking that it was Tuesday.

Thankfully, it’s not Tuesday. It’s totally brunch day! Woohoo! You know what that means – motherfucking bacon, yo. That’s correct! Maple bacon is on deck for this morning. I think there’s a couple of waffles left too that I’ll have to pull out of the freezer for the Beautiful One.

Yesterday was pretty good. We played some BotW for a while. I totally prepped for an assault on Hyrule castle. Then I warped to it, so the next time I play, I’ll be in the mix ready to go. I then passed the controller to Crystal, saying I didn’t want to hit the castle by myself, thinking that she’d do a quick prep and attack the last Divine Beast. But she was having fun treasure hunting. That’s awesome!

Hopefully it’ll be warm enough outside for Crystal can spin for a little bit outside

Speaking of outside – last night both our phones went off at the same time. We have the same northern lights app. It basically said that we had a pretty good chance that if we went outside we’d see the northern lights.

Oh we did.

Each time we went outside, there they were, dancing in the sky. Beautiful. Totally beautiful. We took a lot of pictures, and even some video. It was totally awesome! I think Crystal really liked it too.

Nobody likes you when you’re twenty-three

Good morning, it’s Friyay! Welcome to the end of the week! Well, almost the end of the week. I have a short shift tomorrow, then it’s the weekend baby!

Last night when I went outside, I called for Crystal. Looking up in the sky, it just looked like fast moving thing clouds. It wasn’t. It was the northern lights. They were beautiful. Crystal will be able to word it correctly over on her site. It’s been like two decades since I’ve seen them last. I took some pictures and videos for Crystal.

We didn’t do too much after I got back from work. Crystal made a very tasty dinner of shramp taco bowls. So very good. There’s enough for lunch today.

I slept like the dead last night. I crashed. I was up a little early, but only for a couple of seconds before I fell back asleep until the alarm went off.

So now we’re up, and slowly drinking the nectar of life. Hopefully today will go quickly. Happy Friyay!!!
