Slam it to the left if you’re havin’ a good time

Holy shitballs, it’s Saturday! Chaucer is already up on my lap. He snuggled Crystal all night, I think. He was in the same place as he was when we went to sleep. He’s a good boy. Pippin, slept out on the couch.

Yesterday was a long day at work. Around 10:30ish, something happened to the internet tubes. They just stopped working. Internet, and cell phone service came to a stand still. You’d see three things if you looked at your phone – no signal at all. 1 or 2 bars of 3G, or 1 tiny bar of LTE. That continued on for about 4 hours, until it just magically turned back on. From there it was a rush to get as much work done as possible in case that the internet died. NewNewGirl was just about to leave for the day when it came back on. All the work she had to do was on the computer for clients, so she was happy when it came back on, so she could actually get something done.

BossLady had a doctors appointment a couple hours away, so she worked from home in the morning but told NewNewGirl that she’d be in right after. NNG said that she suspected that BL would be back around two. I told her that is logistically impossible due to the time of her appointment. She thought about that and said she figures BL would be back around 3 or 3:30. I was unimpressed with that theory, and gave my theory.

I figured that she’d be back in the office about 4:40. I was wicked close! BossLady walked in at 4:45. We loaded a chair into her car, and she unloaded a box of sheets for Crystal. Just telling me that they would probably need to be washed. Crystal got to look at them after dinner, and they’re all piled on the hamper to be washed. I’m thinking I might wash them today for her.

So I skedaddled right at 5, because it was date night last night – with a twist. Crystal was having a mini pop up shop at the diner. The owner of the diner, and one of the waitresses wanted to see more of Crystal’s homemade pants. When I got home, the kitties were fed, and there were to shopping bags stuffed full of pants.

If you want to hear the rest, buy the rights.

It’s Friday I’m in love

Hey motherfuckers. Good morning, welcome to Friyay morning. It’s almost the weekend. I slept like the dead last night, and pretty much made it until the alarm went off this morning. The kitties were nice, and let us sleep. Sadly, when the alarm went off, Crystal was already awake.

One day, she’ll be sleeping when the alarm goes off, and that’ll be awesome, but it’s not today. The alarm went off, and leaned over and gave her a kiss. Then up and atom.

The sun is shining, and there’s just a slight breeze out there. It looks like it’s gonna be a nice day. Chaucer is stalking around, I think he’s trying to get on the table with Pippin. She for the most part, doesn’t mind if he’s up there with her. He doesn’t like to jump up if she’s up there. But has no problem if she’s not up there. Maybe when I get up, they’ll both be up there.

But let’s get the day started! Happy Friyay everyone! Short and sweet post this morning.

We’ll fight the powers that be, just don’t pick on our destiny, ’cause

It’s been a while since the cats have woken us up in the morning. It started I think around 4. I woke up hearing a clunk – something falling off of something. I figured it was a lighter off the kitchen table. I was wrong, but I wouldn’t find out until 5 or 6. I think it was around 6 when I heard more sounds. So I got up, and found a fridge magnet on the ground, and Pippin sitting next to it.

As I bend over, that’s when Pippin takes off like a crazy cat. I think I either lightly dozed or something, but then I wake up hearing someone clawing at the carpet next to my bed. That’s Chaucer. I roll over and just drop polar bear on him, which causes him to merp. That’s it.

All bets are off.

Pippin heard that merp, and then the chasey chasey game starts. At this point we’re awake. We’ll, I’m awake. Crystal has probably been up for a little while at this point. Then Pippin is trying to look out the bedroom window. It was havoc and mayhem. So we just get up, just a few moments before the alarm goes off.

And guess what? It’s peaceful now. Chaucer is snuggled on my lap, and Pippin is simply looking out the window. It’s like they let us sleep until the alarm, and this is just part of the morning routine.

Good times.

Happy Wednesday Thursday, my friends. Get that coffee, you deserve it.

She’ll make you take your clothes off and go dancing in the rain

Good morning my friends. What a change from yesterday – it’s sunny and bright outside. Yesterday, it looked and felt like fall. But today, it feels like summer again. Hopefully, it’ll warm up nicely, and be summer again.

I only worked for a couple of hours yesterday. BossLady texted me to tell me that she wouldn’t be in. She said she had the flu. I think she just has a nasty cold – if she has the flu, there’d be a good chance that she won’t be in today. But I know her, she’ll be in this morning.

So yeah, I left at noon and grabbed some spicy ramen for lunch for the two of us. It was really good – for store bought ramen. After lunch, we cleaned out the bedroom closet and we took two bags to the second hand store. We also stopped at my parents place and help to load 2 or 3 bags into my moms truck.

I found just one book, which I posted about yesterday. Crystal grabbed a curtain – to make some cover ups. Nothing else jumped out at us. So we went home.

It was a good day for sure.

So here we are, the middle of the week. The weekend is so close to us. I can almost taste it. Happy Wednesday! Let’s have a great day out there!

Push me and then just touch me till I can get my satisfaction

Awake. I was a tossy turny boy this morning. I couldn’t breathe through my face holes, and on either side, I’d roll over – my neck has some cramps in it. So the last hour or so before the alarm went off was a mix of comfort, then uncomfortableness.

Good morning my friends, it’s a gray, breezy day out there so far. It feels like fall, but hopefully will turn itself around as the day goes on. The coffee has been brewed, and the news is on.

Happy 4th of July my American friends. Be safe out there. I’m sure that you love seen the fireworks safety stuff on the news. Don’t blow your fingers off!

Yesterday was pretty good. We went grocery shopping in the morning. On the way into SlightlyBiggerTown, we got caught behind one of those hover-rounds driving down the middle of Main st. It was pretty laughable. That was the only thing of note that happened. Pretty much a quick in and out.

But it’s back to work today. I have no clue if I’ll be leaving early today. We’ll see what happens. If I do, Woohoo! If not, that’s ok too. Let’s get this started!
