The DJ plays my song and I feel alright

Shawshank, October 16, 2023

I was up slightly before the alarm went off, yet when it did, it surprised me a little. I know I had dreams last night, but I don’t remember them this morning. Good morning, my friends. It’s a bright and clear Monday morning.

And I forgot to take the bacon out last night. It’s out now. That’s all that matters, if you ask me.

Oh, and also, according to Google Calendar, it’s Crystal’s second birthday. It started as a joke, I told her many many years ago that her birthday was too close to Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. So I randomly said your new birthday is October 16th. And now, here we are! Happy birthday Crystal!

Yesterday was a great lazy day. We simply played video games and did chores. The chore were completed quickly, so we were only waiting on the laundry to be finished, and even that finished quickly.

From there we headed over to Shady Acres, and had a very good dinner, and we just hung out a chit chatted for a little bit, but we took off shortly after dinner, as we had to feed our own kitties. And lemme tell you, they were screaming for food. After they were fed, we took turns playing some No Man’s Sky.

I just had a kitty lay down on my lap. Chaucer is happy. It’s a new week. Happy Monday y’all.
