My sticky paws were in to making straws out of big fat Slurpee treats

It’s bright and sunny out there, so while Pippin was eating her breakfast, and in between making sure Podrick wouldn’t jump up onto the table to steal her food, I opened the back door, and then the front door. Then back to guard duty. Crystal took the Rick of Pods into the bathroom while Pippin finished her breakfast.

Work yesterday morning was slow as balls, but surprisingly, the morning went by really quick. Before we knew it, the next shift was there and ready to work. Woohoo, time to go! I stop and get the mail, and head back to The Flat. Podrick, inspired me to do the dishes, and clean up some of his toys while I watched the Great American Bash on Netflix. Crystal and I made fun of the wrestlers,

I cooked burgers and tots for dinner. And discovered that there is a way to watch Saturday Nights Main Event. It’s on NBC in the states, but the WWE puts it on YouTube for the rest of us heathens. It was pretty good minus the fact that there’s a commercial every couple of minutes – it’s usually about a 3-4 minute commercial. In the middle of wrestling matches. Crazy.

We’ll be heading to shady Acres this afternoon. I’ll be popping some allergy pills, and hopefully getting the riding lawnmower started, and then I’ll be mowing the back 40 for my parents. It’s past due for its two mowings a summer. In my defense, it has been a rainy summer so far.

Then, guess what? More wrestling! I’m pretty sure The Beautiful One will be getting tired of wrestling, but this should be a pretty good PPV – it’s an all women’s show! Evolution 2 will be on tonight. So we’ll start watching that a little late, cause we’ll probably be eating at the time.

Psst … Raw is tomorrow too. lol

Sing my song I’m goin’ round the world, I gotta find my girl

Good sunny morning, party people! Who’s ready for a great morning? Podrick is up doing Podrick things. He truly loves to chase his tail on a sleeping body. He was just a little wild this morning. Crystal’s vape came right at him, so that set off the little orange firecracker. So far, he’s helped Crystal clean out the litter box, tried to wrestle Pippin, tripped me up as I walked to the kitchen.

It’s gonna be a busy day this afternoon. We’ll be heading over to Shady Acres, I’ll be helping my dad install a hot water heater. There’s a good chance I’ll be working with electricity, and soldering. The last time I worked with electricity, I shut the main power down to the house, and I was still freaking out. So we’ll see.

But before we head over, I’ll be doing the weekly chores. Laundry, clean the shower, etc. I’ll also be turning on the Night of Champions. I got spoiled with a couple of results last night while at work, but I’ll watch it anyways. But I’ll get most of the chores started before watching it.

Right after I refilled my coffee, I looked over at the back door. Both Pippin and Podrick were sitting nicely at the back door on the table. Now growling, or anything just two kitties looking out over the backyard, vibing.

Got that Bourbon Street steak with the Oreo shake

Podrick was a good boy this morning, letting me (mostly) to sleep in. I don’t know what time The Beautiful One was woken up, but I assume that it was mere minutes before I finally woke up.

The coffee has been brewed, and is slowly being consumed. It’s gray outside, and looks like it’s rained a little, either in the night, or sometime this morning. I don’t know if I’ll be weed whacking over at Shady Acres this afternoon or not. For right now, I’ll just assume that that’s what I’ll be doing for at least the first hour when we get there this afternoon.

Twas a good Saturday. We got up and once we were ready, we grabbed the town wide garage sale map, and we were out on the town. I’m pretty sure we hit just about all of the sales scattered through town. I got a new coffee mug, along with one for Crystal. We also found high heeled sneakers, and some foam rollers for her. Oh, and a new pair of Bluetooth headphones for a steal.

Back to work tomorrow afternoon. I’ll be starting laundry in a few, after I can get my eyes to focus. Not too much to do, as I did laundry on my last day off, on Wednesday. But we’ll get everything ready for the next week.

It’s summer time, when is it going to start getting warm?

‘Cause they love him in London and Paris and Tokyo America, Scotland and Canada and Mexico

Good gray morning. It’s gray and it’s been rainy, and windy. It’s supposed to be like this all day. I feel bad, it’s grad weekend. No grad parade yesterday. There was tonnes of wind, and it threatened to rain for the day.

Didn’t really do too much when I got home. I closed up some windows, as the wind was coming right in, and it was a chilly wind. Crystal was playing Balatro on the couch. So I figured today is a good day to play Balatro, and I started to play. It did not go well. I couldn’t make it out of the first couple blinds. I put my phone down. 5 minutes later, I tried again. It was a little better. Then it sucked, but I tried again, and got a couple good Jokers. And of course, I was surprised when I won.

After Balatro, it was dinner time. Crystal was first, working up her world famous Brussels Sprouts. She got the cut up, oiled, and seasoned. I put them in the oven, and we sat down just as the newest pay-per-view from the WWE – Money in the Bank. It wasn’t too bad. 3 hour PPV, and only 4 or 5 matches. And the first match out of the gate was the woman’s ladder match. I think by far the best match of the night. It was good, but so many ads. So many.

It was a nice relaxing evening. We laughed at the wrestlers and made up scenarios that we’d think the wrestlers would do.

Let me tell you Podrick has been really good in the mornings (and I just jinxed it), and is usually in bed snuggling The Beautiful One as she has her sensory amplifier pulled up over her head. It’s not the cotton dome, as that protects against outside attacks from Pod, it’s not designed to repel attacks from inside. I think her technology is more advanced than mine.

Rare opening shift tomorrow. Up at the ass crack of dawn. But let’s just concentrate on today – chores and Shady Acres.

Do you believe in Joe Hendry?

Zum Geburtstag viel Glück! 🎂

Podricks been a Podrick all morning. The BeautifulOne got up at the ass crack of dawn to take him out and distract home, because tomorrow, I’ll be up at the ass crack of dawn. Yep, for the first time in probably 3 months, I have an opening shift. But thankfully, I’ll be home in the early afternoon, and I’ll be able to sloth after that.

Finally, I beat a deck. The deck that’s been Medco g me for a couple of months. I was excited to unlock a new deck. But alas, earwax, I didn’t unlock a new deck. I didn’t really do anything, just beat the magic (or whatever that deck is called). I’ll have to go back to some of the older decks and try to beat them to unlock some more decks, like Crystal has.

We stopped at the local weed shop, and we wandered in. We like this place, the employees know who we are, and get our humour. So we walk in and I ask for my usual purchase, and ask if the big ol bag of weed that we get is on sale, and score! It is on sale. I then spy with my little eye, a new pipe. I pay for my purchases, and then Crystal pays for hers, and she bought me the pipe for my birthday!

Let me just say that I took it out for a test drive, and I passed out like that fool of a Took, after a hearty second breakfast. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out to dream world, until the flying tomato landed on my face this morning. thank you so much to The Beautiful One for getting it for me. I loves it so much. It’s my precious.

It’s just picture day here. I think this is my most photo heavy post outside of when I talk about the current video game I’m playing. But wait, I have one more picture: my dad just got out of the hospital for hip replacement last Monday, so I thought it would be nice to make him a snack basket, so my mother wouldn’t have to bake him snacks, and they could both rest. I have a $25 Apple gift card, (which part of it will be for Balatro, as we’re taking the Switch over and showing him. I really think that he’ll like it.) and a lot of snacks. I think he’ll like it. He’s hard to shop for.
