‘Cause they love him in London and Paris and Tokyo America, Scotland and Canada and Mexico Shawshank, June 8, 2025 Good gray morning. It’s gray and it’s been rainy, and windy. It’s supposed to be like this all day. I feel bad, it’s grad weekend. No grad parade yesterday. There was tonnes of wind, and it threatened to rain for the day. Didn’t really do too much when I got home. I closed up some windows, as the wind was coming right in, and it was a chilly wind. Crystal was playing Balatro on the couch. So I figured today is a good day to play Balatro, and I started to play. It did not go well. I couldn’t make it out of the first couple blinds. I put my phone down. 5 minutes later, I tried again. It was a little better. Then it sucked, but I tried again, and got a couple good Jokers. And of course, I was surprised when I won. After Balatro, it was dinner time. Crystal was first, working up her world famous Brussels Sprouts. She got the cut up, oiled, and seasoned. I put them in the oven, and we sat down just as the newest pay-per-view from the WWE – Money in the Bank. It wasn’t too bad. 3 hour PPV, and only 4 or 5 matches. And the first match out of the gate was the woman’s ladder match. I think by far the best match of the night. It was good, but so many ads. So many. It was a nice relaxing evening. We laughed at the wrestlers and made up scenarios that we’d think the wrestlers would do. Let me tell you Podrick has been really good in the mornings (and I just jinxed it), and is usually in bed snuggling The Beautiful One as she has her sensory amplifier pulled up over her head. It’s not the cotton dome, as that protects against outside attacks from Pod, it’s not designed to repel attacks from inside. I think her technology is more advanced than mine. Rare opening shift tomorrow. Up at the ass crack of dawn. But let’s just concentrate on today – chores and Shady Acres. Do you believe in Joe Hendry? Life And I want these words to make things right but it’s the wrongs that make the words come to life October 6, 2025 It’s fucking cold out there everyone. Fall has come to North of the Wall. It feels like 20° out there. We are not impressed. I’m mostly dressed, but sadly I can’t go out in what I’m wearing. So yeah I can’t wait for the handy man to fix our furnace…. Read More
Life Break me off a piece of that KitKat bar May 19, 2024 It’s bright and sunny. The birds are singing outside, and both cats are on the little table, looking outside. Staring directly into the sunrise. They are totally happy. It’s Sunday, and there’s no wind out there, just sun. I slept like the dead. I think if I didn’t have the… Read More
Life For you’re an all night generator wrapped in stockings and a dress April 26, 2022 Good morning my friends. I’m told that it’s Tuesday today, and that means back to work. It’s slightly overcast and a little chilly this morning. But good news, we’re not expecting snow today. Yay! Yesterday was ok, except for the power going out again in the middle of me cooking… Read More
