‘Cause they love him in London and Paris and Tokyo America, Scotland and Canada and Mexico Shawshank, June 8, 2025 Good gray morning. It’s gray and it’s been rainy, and windy. It’s supposed to be like this all day. I feel bad, it’s grad weekend. No grad parade yesterday. There was tonnes of wind, and it threatened to rain for the day. Didn’t really do too much when I got home. I closed up some windows, as the wind was coming right in, and it was a chilly wind. Crystal was playing Balatro on the couch. So I figured today is a good day to play Balatro, and I started to play. It did not go well. I couldn’t make it out of the first couple blinds. I put my phone down. 5 minutes later, I tried again. It was a little better. Then it sucked, but I tried again, and got a couple good Jokers. And of course, I was surprised when I won. After Balatro, it was dinner time. Crystal was first, working up her world famous Brussels Sprouts. She got the cut up, oiled, and seasoned. I put them in the oven, and we sat down just as the newest pay-per-view from the WWE – Money in the Bank. It wasn’t too bad. 3 hour PPV, and only 4 or 5 matches. And the first match out of the gate was the woman’s ladder match. I think by far the best match of the night. It was good, but so many ads. So many. It was a nice relaxing evening. We laughed at the wrestlers and made up scenarios that we’d think the wrestlers would do. Let me tell you Podrick has been really good in the mornings (and I just jinxed it), and is usually in bed snuggling The Beautiful One as she has her sensory amplifier pulled up over her head. It’s not the cotton dome, as that protects against outside attacks from Pod, it’s not designed to repel attacks from inside. I think her technology is more advanced than mine. Rare opening shift tomorrow. Up at the ass crack of dawn. But let’s just concentrate on today – chores and Shady Acres. Do you believe in Joe Hendry? Life Yeah here’s a quarter, call someone who cares June 23, 2024 Here’s basically how my day went yesterday: as I was leaving, a local pulled up and was patiently waiting. I pull up behind them, and tell them that we’ve closed at 6. Mind you, it’s 6:25. “Jesus Christ you guys”. “If you come back on Monday, you’re more than welcome… Read More
Life I was caught in the middle of a polar bear trap May 10, 2022 Good morning everyone! I only got up once in the night, and quickly fell back asleep until 6:52. I just got up, made the bed, and started the day. It’s bright and sunny out. I don’t think we’re expecting rain today, but it’s gonna be a windy one out there…. Read More
Life And I, I-I-I-I would like to move in just a little bit closer July 21, 2021 There’s a giant ball of light in the sky, I don’t know what it is. But it’s light enough to haul the plants back outside, which is a good thing for sure. And, I just picked three, count em three peppers off my plant! Woot! Coffee time, have a great… Read More
