Almost forgot to post. Here I am, scrolling memes on my phone whilst Crystal plays her game.
It’s hot here again today. Lots of cloud cover, and smoke. So it’s just like an oven out there. The breeze feels nice though when it hits you.
I don’t have a lot today, as nothing really happened so I’ll leave you with a meme.

It’s a warm one out there. Pretty much the lower half of the province is in a heat advisory. I was outside of the store more than I was in it today. Since I’m now certified to fill propane, that’s what I did, a few times today. I think I filled 7or 8 tanks today.
It’s really nice out there. Lower 80s so it’s not too hot out. But according to some locals, it’s so very hot out. I found it very comfortable, even though I was wearing jeans.
I slept a lot better last night. Hopefully we’ll both sleep well tonight. Crystal was up before my alarm, and got up. She thinks that it disrupts my morning routine when she gets up at 4:30 with me. It totally doesn’t. Though I wish she’d still be asleep, I love having her up with me.
That’s about it. Now just to figure out what’s for dinner. Either we stand over the stove or we have the oven going. Decisions.

Good morning party people! It’s a bright, sunny and hot hot hot morning already. All the blinds are down, and Pippin is annoyed that she can’t look out the back door. Reason – it’s closed to try and keep the heat at bay. I told her I’ll open it in a couple of hours.
We’re expecting a high in the low 90s today. Yep it’s hot for here, but again this is not an excuse to have an AC. There’s no point in them here. It’s literally hot here for like 2 weeks a year. Don’t be like my neighbour that’s one house down. Running her window AC, and I haven’t seen her car since Thursday.
So with all the heat, I’m not going to do my chores until tomorrow. I don’t feel like running the washer and dryer in this weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be about 10 degrees cooler. I’ll do it all tomorrow.
Yesterday, when I went to SlightlyBiggerTown, I was cut off due to a parade driving towards me down Main Street. I quickly turned off and came back to watch the parade. It was fun!
From there I want to a couple of stores and bought a suction cup bird feeder for the kitten, and then went for lunch, then off to do my drug deal. Ahh legal weed. Yay Canada! Then it was a quick trip to the grocery store where they didn’t have wings. That made me a little sad. After that back to the Flat to unpack everything.
All in all a good Saturday if you ask me!
Yep, it’s a hot one out there. And for some stupid reason, the ice cream place here is closed on Saturday’s. It boggles the mind.
Today I went to SlightlyBiggerTown, to do some grocery shopping, and of course to do a teensy tiny drug deal.
Since SlightlyBiggerTown is at least 30 minutes away, I can’t buy ice cream. I might go up to the gas station to see if they have power. But they’re probably closed by now.
So, I’ll sweat, and drink mostly cold water.

What a wonderful afternoon! Quiet. No noise other than a fan going. My mom had to pick up some parts for my dad in the SlightlyBiggerTowns and asked if I wanted to come for a drive. I declined. All. Alone.
It’s nice to just be alone. I ate lunch, and then, because I can, took a shower. I didn’t have to ask if anyone needed to use the bathroom, nothing. I walked, naked, from my room to the bathroom. Then when I was finished, naked from the bathroom to my bedroom.
Glorious.
I didn’t have to say where I was going, when I went to the second hand store. Just popped my headphones in, cranked some tunes, and went for a walk.
Now, I have some water, and I’m going to read ‘Ship of Theseus’ for a while, until my mom and gramma get back. What a wonderful afternoon!
