Happy Sunday! It’s a new day out there, I’m told. It doesn’t feel too cold out there, and since it was so warm yesterday, it feels like the snow banks are a little smaller this morning. They might be, but probably not. Just a trick of the eyes, I think.

I woke up once in the night. I was only awake long enough to see what the time was – 5:30. Then I rolled over, and went back to sleep. Out like a light. Then the alarm went off. That’s pretty much the best sleep that I’ve had in a while.

Pippin just jumped up on to my lap, and is snuggling in. Chaucer is wondering around. He just got sick in the litter box. I have to scoop soon anyways. But it was less for me to clean up!

It was a perfect lazy day yesterday. I went out for dinner and came back. We had a really good fish and chips dinner with some mozzarella sticks, and some coconut shramp. It was really good.

Not too much on deck, just the usual Sunday chores. Get some! Oh, and also coffee!

So if I gotta die I’m gonna listen to my body tonight, yeah

Good morning, happy New Year, my friends. I hope the new year will be 100s of times better than 2022. Now you just have to write 2023 when you’re dating stuff. Don’t worry, by June, you should be in the habit of doing that. Until then just keep trying.

We actually made it to midnight, and this totally counts. It was 11:45, and Crystal said let’s just go to be now. By the time we’re finished in the bathroom, and are in bed, it’ll be after midnight.

Damn, she’s smart. It was pretty much perfect timing. We kissed and got comfortable, it was midnight. The start of a new year. And now, here we are.

2023.

We didn’t really party like it was 1999. We got up. Watched some Dateline, and drove to SlightlyBiggerTown for groceries and other needed items. We got a bunch of appetizers for dinner. Which were really good and filling. We got tempura coated chicken chunks, coconut covered shramp, and mozzarella sticks.

We watched Bullet Train. What a good movie. Great action, mystery, comedy, with an awesome cast. I won’t go too far into it. I just don’t want to spoil it. If you’re in Canada, and have Amazon Prime, definitely check it out. After that, we switched over to Netflix, to finish The Witcher: Blood Origin. It was pretty good, but it didn’t really need to have the Witcher attached to it. It was a perfectly good fantasy that didn’t have to be part of the Witcher universe.

Today is Sunday. Chore day. So shortly I’ll be getting ready to do laundry. Heck yeah laundry! Heck yeah 2023! Heck yeah new year new me!

Good morning every one. I’ve been up since 6, and Crystal, on and off since about 4 am. So yeah, we’re awake, but we’re not happy about it this morning. I’ve checked the weather and the snow that’s coming tomorrow, last night was sitting at just under 10 inches. This morning we’re sitting at back down to about 3 inches.

I’m getting tired of the will it, won’t it. But I guess we’ll see what happens when we wake up in the morning. We’ll either have a shit-tonne of snow, or something shovelable. Time will tell.

Chaucer is chasing his tail under the built-in bookcase. Pippin is taking this as he wants to play. So she’s trying to play with him. He just wants to level up his tail catching skills.

But we’re awake, and slowly greeting the day. Today, there’s a couple Christmas shows that I’ve saved to Crystal’s favourites so maybe we’ll watch some today. Or there’s 100s of hallmark movies to help get into the spirit. Let’s fucking do this!

Good morning. We, well, I slept in. I don’t know about Crystal, but I made it until 7:44 according to the alarm clock. I woke to Pippin leaping across the bed to attack Crystal’s fingers and toes. Every morning the girls play in the bed. It’s very cute seeing Pippin fox jump on toes.

‘‘Twas a Long day yesterday. Worked the Saturday shift. Actually had a good sale, and was just about to start pulling some discontinued fabrics when BossLady rolled in. Thankfully it was about 1:15, meaning only about 45 minutes left in the shift. I of course dropped what I was doing and did what she wanted. Under her direction I took about 30 photos of sheet sets, towels, sham sets etc, and put them on instagram stories. By the time I was finished that, it was time to go.

I picked up Crystal, and we started the drive to BiggerTown. It’s not a bad drive, and is a lot shorter than the drive to CapitalCity. We hit a couple of stores, then it was off to Walmart. I think we bought the store! Lots of stuff, but everything we got, we needed. That’s a good thing! From there, we hit the weed store, and grab some McDonald’s to eat. Then it was back on the road back home.

It was a little late when we got back. We fed and loved on the kittens, showered and fell asleep, quickly.

Now we’re up, and have coffee. And a kitten between us and one happily on my lap. She’ll be a little upset when I get up to get more coffee and to prep the laundry.

Oh it must have been while you were kissing me

Good morning! Hap hap happy Sunday y’all! I woke up 5 minutes after the alarm was supposed to go off. I say supposed, because I shut the alarm off Friday night. We’ve been free sleeping since then. We’re wild and cray cray that way. It hasn’t really helped, because Crystal is still up wicked early, and while I do sleep, I’m up minutes after the alarm is supposed to go off.

We’ll figure it out.

Coffee has been brewed, and Dateline is on the TV. So that means, it’s a Sunday. Chore day. Lazy Sunday, if you will. I’ll be starting the fun chore of laundry in probably about a half hour.

We had a pretty good day yesterday. We went to SlightlyBiggerTown mainly to get a new shower hose. Which we did. And Teflon tape, which we did. I also picked up Christmas presents for BossLady, and NewNewGirl. We also went to the local second hand store – which was 50% off store-wide. Let’s just say we found a pile of Pyrex, at a pretty illegal price. If you head over to Crystal’s site I’m sure that she’ll have pictures of all the pretty bowls.

We also found new coffee mugs for us. They’re cheese and cute – just like us. I love them. And I promise we’ll use them every morning for our coffee. They’re totally us.

Today other than chores, we don’t have that much planned. Just heading over to Shady Acres for dinner. I think we’re making cake balls over there today as well. That should be fun!
