That’s when the DJ dropped my favorite tune

Good morning my friends. The sun is shining, and it doesn’t feel that cold out. It looks like it could be a pretty nice day out there.

Today is chore day. I guess we started that yesterday, as we cleaned up the living room, and moved some books around. Crystal made fun of me, because we moved my Twilight books to a shelf where I can’t see them now. I asked her how can I gaze upon these books whenever I want?

Yep, she laughed and laughed about my quandary. They’re currently on a shelf hidden behind the light, but I have the paperbacks on the entertainment console.

Yesterday was a lazy lazy day here after all the organization that we did in the living room. Crystal fired up BotW, and decided to completely jump into the end game, and decided on a sneaky yet somewhat full frontal assault on Castle Hyrule. Whereas when I played hours later, I didn’t do that. That damn castle scares the bejesus out of me. I did a couple cheap ass side quests that didn’t take me any closer to the castle than I had to.

Scares me.

Like I said, today is chore day. But coffee first. Let’s do this.

But,

Coffee first.

I can see paradise by the dashboard light

Good morning, party people. It’s dig out day. Surprisingly, the town has plows out clearing the streets this morning. I don’t think I’ve seen or heard plows out on a Sunday before. We’ll be starting to dig out, and chores a little later. I’d like to wake up a little first.

It’s bright clear and sunny out. Big difference from yesterday where it was blowing snow. There’s no wind or very little wind out there. Where the side walk is, just a large large drift. I haven’t been able to look to see how bad the tuck is buried. But we’ll dig that out too.

Yesterday was a total bonus day. We didn’t get dressed, and all we did was play BotW. It was great. I stumbled into new areas, and Crystal did some awesome flying in one area. Twice. Because I asked her to do the exact same thing on my game as she did on hers. She did it with a twist. She Leroy Jenkins an entire area, and came out of it unscathed.

She’s the bestest.

Ok let’s get some coffee, wake up. Let’s kick today in the nuts. Have an awesome Sunday everyone!

Creampuffs and bourbon and the music was louder. My wife was competing in a game of chance

Good morning, happy Sunday everyone! We’re in the middle of the weekend, and it’s an exciting day today. Yep, that’s right. Y’all guessed correctly. It’s Chore Day! It’s time for cleaning, and dusting, and general renewal of the Flat. We’ll be starting that in a few hours. Who’s excited about cleaning? I am!

Yesterday, while I was getting some BotW, I got a phone call from my dad, saying that there were some cows birthing, and to be ready in about a half hour. About a half hoursish later, we were in the way to a farm. Within minutes of arriving, we’re standing around a brand new baby cow. They so cute! I had no idea that when they came out, they’re like 140lbs.

Wow!

After wandering around the farm. We took off for SlightlyBiggerTown for groceries, and weed. We stopped and grabbed some lunch, then went shopping. Both Crystal and I forgot about grabbing her ID to get into the weed store, so I went in solo to pick up some carts for our vapes, and a big bag o’ weed. After that, we hit the road back home.

We pretty much took turns playing BotW, until mid evening. It’s such a cool game, and I get overwhelmed in it pretty easy. I have to start a session with one or two objectives in my mind to what I want to do in it. I have a couple things I want to take care of this today when I play. It’s fun! It’s a really cool game.

Oh, get down turn around go to town boot scootin’ boogie

Well well well. It’s Sunday morning, and when the alarm went off, for me the bed was the perfect temperature. I didn’t want to get up. But I’m sure that Crystal had been up at that point, for at least an hour or so. But that’s just a guess.

So I walk out to the living room, and there’s a little bit of chaos. Pippin was a Mountain climber last night. She got to where she’s not supposed to have been. After that was cleaned up, the coffee was started, and Dateline has been started.

Yesterday, it wasn’t actually too bad at work. I did my own thing for a few hours, helped BossLady out for about 30-40 minutes, and then went back to what I was doing for the rest of the shift. She seemed fine, and I was tentatively cracking jokes with her, so there’s that.

But today is Sunday, chores will be started shortly. But before chores, I’m gonna need some more coffee, and time to focus the ol eyes. But I think it’ll be a good morning. Heck boys, it’s a lot warmer out there than yesterday at this time. It’s only -16 this morning, and that’s without the wind. I prefer not to look at the windchill. Like Crystal would say It’s like spring out there, where’s my Birkenstocks?

Ok, maybe she wouldn’t say that. But who knows, she totes might!

Life is demanding without understanding

I think I’m awake. I think I was up shortly before the alarm went off. But I quickly fell back asleep when Crystal pulled me into a snuggle. I fell quickly back to sleep. A deep sleep. It was almost like a full nights sleep in about 10-15 minutes.

And now here we are. Awake. Coffee has been brewed, and is currently being consumed. It’s chore day. I’ll be starting that in an hour or so. Usually we go up to Shady Acres for dinner, but since we hung out pretty much all day yesterday, I’m going to text mom in a few hours, and politely decline for this evening.

Yesterday was a pretty good day, we drove to NextProvinceOver to check out an RV show. There’s some pretty good RVs out there, some bigger than The Flat. That’s crazy! We wandered around for about an hour, then went for lunch.

Following lunch, we stopped at Walmart. Neither is or my mom needed a lot of stuff. We did a circle of the store – and walked out with like 4 items. We quickly stopped at a second hand store that was pretty sad, so we hopped back in the truck, and drove home.

We had some left over pizza for dinner, watched some shows, and then went to bed. I can’t speak for Crystal, but I was out like a light.

But first, more coffee.
