He’s gotta be strong, and he’s gotta be fast and he’s gotta be fresh from the fight

What a wild trip it’s been. The first picture I uploaded was on March 11th. From there, I mostly explored – staying on the road for some reason. Crystal was the one that went overland, and found a lot more things than I did. So I’ve been kinda playing catch-up.

But I have gotten stuff done. I’ve tamed 3 out the 4 Divine Beasts. I only have one left – the hard one. The one that took Crystal 2 days, and a couple of video walkthroughs.

I couldn’t hardly sit there and watch. See, I yell things out. I’m tasked with watching the hearts to make sure to tell her when to eat. I did that, and Thunder Blight Ganon was almost down, and I had to stand up. But she did it! She kicked his ass!

So here’s some pictures that I’ve gathered over the last month. The last one with Link on the bone horse – is a picture that Crystal took. She tamed it. This game is pretty cool. It’s the first game in a while that I’ve really sunk my teeth into.

I may not beat this one, but I’m going to come damn close before Tears of the Kingdom comes out.

I can fly higher than an eagle for you are the wind beneath my wings

Welp, after writing the morning post, and after starting the chores, I fired up YouTube to find a video on the beginning of the Divine Brest that flies over Rita village – Val Medoh. I gathered some supplies that I thought I might need, then warped over to the village.

I had a test before I could start the beast. It wasn’t that hard and I got it on the first attempt. Usually I hate timed events, and I can never complete it on the first attempt. But nevertheless, I got it!

I think I only missed a couple of times. A few minutes later, I was standing on the deck of the beast, ready to tackle the puzzles. Let me tell you, these puzzles were a lot harder. With Crystal’s help, I managed to get them all in about an hour or so.

Then it was on to the Windblight Ganon fight. He was a little trickster, lemme tell you. He managed to hit me a few times, only because unlike the last fight, he moved around a lot more, and was pretty much a sneaky fucking Russian. So it took a little longer, but I managed to knock him down pretty quickly.

Thank god, for bomb arrows. I went in with about a 100, and I think I left with 65-70. I’m not too sure. But they’ve helped me twice now.

But when you touch me like this and you hold me like that

yawn. Good morning all you party people. Yep, it’s Sunday. We’re in the belly of the weekend. According to my weather app, it’s supposed to start snowing at any time here. The forecast says we’re supposed to be getting around 14-15cm of snow over the course of the day.

We play by different rules, north of the wall.

Yay. Snow.

Yesterday was a pretty good day, if you ask me. We got up, and had a damn good cup of coffee (or two), and we watch some Dateline. Crystal put her makeup on, then we took off to SlightlyBiggerTown. Crystal picked up some new comfies, and a really cute Easter bunny headband, gloves, and a tail. We grabbed some snacks, and moved on to the groceries.

We stuck to the list, which I pulled out (are we still not doing phrasing?) at the end, to find that we were right on. I paid, and we were on our way. We stopped at the weed store, and looked around. Crystal found an ounce that looked cool, and picked that up.

When we got home, we put the groceries away, and I turned on BotW. I had psyched myself up to do something crazy. After trying to upgrade, and getting a good nights sleep in Goron City, I travelled to Zora’s Domain, and (for me,) did the unthinkable. I started a Divine Beast quest.

To get in was crazy. I blocked as many ice chunks as I could, and destroyed the rest. After what felt like 20 minutes, I finally fought my way inside. That’s when the actual fun started. Puzzle time!

I will admit, that Crystal is the puzzle master, so she helped a lot. I wouldn’t have been able to finish the area without her. (She fought the beast after dinner) So hell she effectively did the zone twice. Once with me – giving me hints and a lot of help, and once on her account.

One down, three more to go. Still just as nervous! Even though I have one under my belt. We’ll see what I do next!

Open up your lovin’ arms watch out, here I come

It’s wicked bright and sunny out there. I have Chaucer on my lap. He demanded to get up on my lap as soon as I sat down. He’s toasty warm.

We didn’t do too much yesterday. I did the chores, and sat down and played a couple of hours of Breath of the Wild. I think I found 2, maybe 3 shrines, fought a couple of Guardians. I think I’m trying to buy time before finally making my way to either to the Devine Beasts which scare the life out of me, or to the castle to fight Ganon.

So I’m trying to do some of the side quests and shrine quests. I’m having fun with the game. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’m really enjoying the open world, and choice of what to do.

I’m sure I’ll play it today.

I don’t plan on getting dressed today.

Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods?

Hey hey. Caught a quiet moment where I could quickly write about the fun that is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

SPOILER ALERT

You have been warned.

This game is a blast!

It’s so overwhelming, but I’ve found that if you just choose one or two things to do per session, it’s a lot easier to swallow.

Yesterday, I got enough hearts to pull out the Master Sword. I was so excited that I forgot to get screen grabs. So I had to find some.

Omg so freaking awesome!

I think I might need a new category for TinyTown Video Games!
