But when you touch me like this and you hold me like that Shawshank, April 2, 2023 yawn. Good morning all you party people. Yep, it’s Sunday. We’re in the belly of the weekend. According to my weather app, it’s supposed to start snowing at any time here. The forecast says we’re supposed to be getting around 14-15cm of snow over the course of the day. We play by different rules, north of the wall. Yay. Snow. Yesterday was a pretty good day, if you ask me. We got up, and had a damn good cup of coffee (or two), and we watch some Dateline. Crystal put her makeup on, then we took off to SlightlyBiggerTown. Crystal picked up some new comfies, and a really cute Easter bunny headband, gloves, and a tail. We grabbed some snacks, and moved on to the groceries. We stuck to the list, which I pulled out (are we still not doing phrasing?) at the end, to find that we were right on. I paid, and we were on our way. We stopped at the weed store, and looked around. Crystal found an ounce that looked cool, and picked that up. When we got home, we put the groceries away, and I turned on BotW. I had psyched myself up to do something crazy. After trying to upgrade, and getting a good nights sleep in Goron City, I travelled to Zora’s Domain, and (for me,) did the unthinkable. I started a Divine Beast quest. To get in was crazy. I blocked as many ice chunks as I could, and destroyed the rest. After what felt like 20 minutes, I finally fought my way inside. That’s when the actual fun started. Puzzle time! I will admit, that Crystal is the puzzle master, so she helped a lot. I wouldn’t have been able to finish the area without her. (She fought the beast after dinner) So hell she effectively did the zone twice. Once with me – giving me hints and a lot of help, and once on her account. One down, three more to go. Still just as nervous! Even though I have one under my belt. We’ll see what I do next! Mornin’, y’all. I’ve been up for a bit more than an hour now. I spent the time laying quietly in the bed, watching silent TikTok videos and waiting for the alarm to go off so I had a reason to be awake. There’s no new snow out there yet, but it’s most definitely on the way to us. Saturday was nice. I managed to become an adult human female before the morning was too far gone. It was still a bit too early for lunch when we arrived in Slightly BiggerTown, so we shopped before eating. I can’t leave the discount store without finding something I absolutely have to leave with; this time was no different. I found some leggings, comfy clothes, and a set of Easter Bunny ears and tail. This week’s live stream’s gonna be extra eggstra ridiculous. We’ve been managing groceries like grownups this week, and Shawshank had a list. The food shopping went smoothly. We hit up the dispo and bought drugs, then went out for lunch. I looked through tutorials on how to make cannabutter while Shawshank drove us home. Once we got home, we put the groceries away, I started working on the butter, and Shawshank loaded up BOTW. The two of us have made it to just about the same point in the game. However, we both have total fear of failure, so neither of us had done any of the Divine Beast battles. We watched some very basic Youtube videos last week, and yesterday Shawshank took the plunge and did one. He got into it, I helped out with the puzzle bits, then let him do his “brute force and ignorance” thing while I adjourned to the kitchen to get my cannabutter going in my $1 mini crockpot. Later, I did the same battle. He predicted it would take me 8 minutes. He was wrong, because I suck at jumping. Today is chore day. The laundry is running, and the first few flakes of snow are falling. We’re going out to Shady Acres for dinner later. Oh, and I’m going to make some brownies. Reply
