Playing with the queen of hearts Shawshank, August 19, 2020 It’s morning here again. It’s gone up 3 degrees in an hour, and is supposed to be as hot as it was yesterday. I slept on top of my blankets all night, and was very comfortable for the evening. I didn’t even need to put a t-shirt on, just a pair of shorts and I was good to go. I was planning on mowing the lawn today, but it’ll be just to darn hot out there, even on the ride on mower. But for right now, before it gets too hot, I’m watching TV, and drinking some covfefe. I’ve already taken the trash out, so that’s a win in my book. So I finished NOS4A2 yesterday afternoon. It was not the ending I thought going to happen. It was good though. I enjoy Joe Hill’s writing style. It’s a lot like his father’s, but better. I’m re-reading “Night Film” by Marisha Pessl. My first read of it was rather rushed, so it’s a book that I’ll read before bed. I think I made it about 20-25 pages before I was nodding off. It’s a better book to read before bed, than say, “Fellowship of the Ring”. Update: it’s now 12:30, and it’s 35c or 95f Life blogcoffeeheatlifeTinyTown

And I’m closing all this week. I think yesterday was about the warmest that it’ll get this week. It’s sad when a Monday will be the best day of the week. Work… Read More

It’s a special day, because it’s the end of the week – and I (so far) don’t have to work tomorrow. The birds are singing and the coffee is brewing. It’s the start of a good day. Canada… Read More
Life But everything looks better when the sun goes down March 26, 2024 Another day, another dollar. Before taxes. I’m tired. How hard would it be to just have one restful night a week? A month? I’m not greedy. I slept well I guess last night. The alarm didn’t scare me. But I just don’t feel rested, or myself. I’ll live. Work wasn’t… Read More
