Playing with the queen of hearts Shawshank, August 19, 2020 It’s morning here again. It’s gone up 3 degrees in an hour, and is supposed to be as hot as it was yesterday. I slept on top of my blankets all night, and was very comfortable for the evening. I didn’t even need to put a t-shirt on, just a pair of shorts and I was good to go. I was planning on mowing the lawn today, but it’ll be just to darn hot out there, even on the ride on mower. But for right now, before it gets too hot, I’m watching TV, and drinking some covfefe. I’ve already taken the trash out, so that’s a win in my book. So I finished NOS4A2 yesterday afternoon. It was not the ending I thought going to happen. It was good though. I enjoy Joe Hill’s writing style. It’s a lot like his father’s, but better. I’m re-reading “Night Film” by Marisha Pessl. My first read of it was rather rushed, so it’s a book that I’ll read before bed. I think I made it about 20-25 pages before I was nodding off. It’s a better book to read before bed, than say, “Fellowship of the Ring”. Update: it’s now 12:30, and it’s 35c or 95f Life blogcoffeeheatlifeTinyTown

The wind is blowing, and I don’t know if it snowed a little more, or if the wind just moved the snow around in the night. Perhaps a combination of both. We’ll… Read More

Go up and dressed, timing everything just right, that all I got this morning was a simple good morning from my mom as I was brewing my coffee. I had a pretty good sleep, a little warm, but… Read More
