Look in my eyes what do you see?

It was a dark and stormy night.

Actually it was. The thunder, and wind woke me up in the night. It was loud and proud. It seemed to go on for a long time. But I managed to go back to sleep. Then, I think, Podrick was playing in my night table, so I promptly took him and put him out of the room, and closed the door. He then proceeded to play with a soda cap, right at the bedroom door!

Eventually, he got bored, and he left the door alone. I fell back asleep. I think he got bored. He did destroy his ribbon that was duct taped to the shelving unit.

Work was pretty good last night. It was busy, but not overwhelming. It was me and Bing Bing. Nothing too major to report. But the stars aligned for us last night. We count the cash, and no one else comes into the store. Literally minutes after we lock the door, we’re out. I drop off the deposit, and I’m at home.

Hey, let’s have another great day, it’s almost Friyay!

In the park across the street L-A-T-E-R that week

Good Monday (Wednesday) morning everyone. Podrick was almost good this morning, I still had to kick him out of the bedroom room very early this morning. He went without a fight. I went back to sleep. The bed was just the perfect temperature this morning.

Yesterday was a great day of sloth. We did actually leave The Flat yesterday. We went up to the second hand store. We left empty handed. There was a Blu-Ray player there for $8, but that would have taken the majority of mah foldin money, and I still would’ve had to find an HDMI cable, so it’s still sitting at the shop.

We didn’t do a whole lot of anything. After the second hand store, we popped up to my work, and I grabbed a new vape, and a couple of slurpies. After that, we headed home, and climbed onto the couch. Crystal played some Balatro, and I surfed the information superhighway.

For dinner, The Beautiful One requested ghetto chicken, so I paired that with some tater tots, and tossed it all into the oven. In 20ish minutes we were back on the couch with our dinner. Dishes were done, and then I put NXT on and we watched some wrestling. A name was called, and the man appeared.

We puttered around until it was bed time. The laser was turned on, and we climbed into bed. Once my head hit the pillow, I was out until around 6, I believe. I carried Podrick out of the room and fell back asleep, until Crystal exclaimed that it was time to greet the day. I wiped the drool from my face, and crawled out of the bed, the chill hitting my skin.

Here we are. A whole new day. It’s gonna be a pretty great day today. Happy Wednesday!!!!

That’s when I saw her, ooh, I saw her she walked in through the out door, out door

Good morning everyone. Today is my Sunday. Although, I did do the laundry yesterday, I still have chores to do. Podrick let us sleep in. And by that, Podrick started to play with my fan, so I put him in the hall, closed the door, and both of us went back to sleep. We emerged from our bed, hopefully refreshed, and ready to greet the day!

We didn’t do too much of anything yesterday. We drove to SlightlyBiggerTown in the beautiful sun. We hit the grocery store, and a couple of other stores, and the weed store, then finally Subway. With our lunch, we drove home, put the groceries away, and ate our royal meal.

In the afternoon, Crystal played Nier Automata, and I watched. I always say this but just watching Crystal play is like watching a movie, when she’s moving – not so much when she’s gathering supplies. It was a good afternoon. I made the kittens dinner (I’m still learning the mix), and Podrick ate, Pippin didn’t really so that caused some anxiety, but she had a good eat this morning.

We watched RAW, and then since I was mostly high at that point, tried to watch a true crime show, but it didn’t grab me so, I didn’t really pay attention. So I turned on some TikTok videos and help Crystal do some Temu shopping.

Twas, a great afternoon and evening.

Out in the playground in the dark side of town

Good morning everyone. With Podrick locked out of the bedroom, and another sleepy time experience for The Beautiful One, we were knocked out until 8:47. That’s when I rolled over and exclaimed “what year is it?” that’s when I knew it was time to get up. The slumber was long, and the limbs were heavy when I heaved myself out of the bed.

We’re up. Coffee is flowing, and the kitties have been fed. I’ve opened the window on the back door, because it’s beautiful out there right now. The kitties are ignoring the laser that just started up. pippin is getting braver and braver. She’s cucks Podrick. He’ll just sit there and watch her eat his food. It’s hilarious to see.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. Considering it’s an open to close shift. I managed to have the store ready to open before Bing Bing knocked on the door. We opened at the opening time, and that started our day. It’s was steady, but not overwhelming. It was actually a pretty not too bad day. I only had to practice asking Bing Bing not to whistle – I told him that I could hear his single note across the store over the AC, and behind a closed door. To his credit, he did stop.

Sanity restored.

We’ll be heading to SlightlyBiggerTown for supplies. I just didn’t feel like doing it after work on Saturday. So we’ll go out in a little while. Once we get back, I’ll start the laundry. It’ll be a good day. Plus RAW is on tonight. So let’s get some!

Pants with stripes and cutaway coat, perfect fits – Puttin’ on the Ritz

Good morning my friends! Podrick tried to get me up early, but no, not today. I pushed him out of the room and closed the door. It took a minute or so to fall back asleep, because I could really breathe. I’m very stuffed up this morning. But I did, and it was glorious. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to “sleep in”.

Coffee has been brewed, and the kittens have been fed. Pippin didn’t have a lot to eat, but I’m sure she’ll begs Crystal throughout the day to have a snack.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad at all. Just wicked slow in the morning. The closer we got to the end of the shift, the people started to come in. Finally something to do.

Podrick is still a crazy kitten. But he doesn’t fly around the house for hours. Heels slowly evolving into morning zoomies, afternoon, and evening zoomies. He still chases Pippin around, but not as much. Yesterday evening, they actually co-existed in the same room. On the same couch. Pippin on my lap, and Podrick over my shoulder.

But he’s still crazy!
