Just when I thought I got him to fall in love with Tennessee Shawshank, June 14, 2026 It’s a bright and sunny Sunday morning here the birds are singing, and Podrick has finally, mostly, settled down. He was a crazy boy this morning for sure. Everyone has been fed, and Pippin, who dined privately this morning, should be sitting on the table feeling the morning sun, and looking for birds. If a crow starts yelling, we’ll have to go out. Crystal is trying to create a crow army. If there’s anyone out there that could recruit a crow army to do her bidding. every time one of them crows in the morning, Crystal will throw out some puffy wheat cereal for them. She’s looking for the “coolest shiny thing” to give to them. I have decreed that I probably won’t be getting dressed today. I have a shift at work tomorrow, during the day, and then due to some funky scheduling, I have the rest of the week off, so that’ll be really nice. I’ll do laundry on Tuesday. The town-wide garage sale over at Shady Acres went really well. The first hour flew by, and my mom said so should we pack it up now? I think we’re done. Nope. We’re staying out longer than 43 minutes mom. Then, my dad came out to get the trailer ready for them to move into. Which meant the garage was open. I started sending the guys what would show up back to the open garage. For the next two hours, my dad was a work horse. He commanded the room from his wheelchair. If needed, he’d get up and walk over with his cane and show people stuff. He did amazingly. A lot of stuff got sold. From license plates, to his ride-on lawnmower, we were moving stuff at the main site of the garage sale, and my dad was moving stuff from the garage. I even had to help him get into the shed in the back. Rewinding back to the beginning of the garage sale. After my parents stuff was out and set up, I grabbed the rack for crystals pants, and set it up. While I held the rack, Crystal loaded it up with her awesome pants. It was a little chilly and gray when we started, but it started to warm up a little. It was still cool, never really getting out of the 50s with the breeze, but under the sun, it was very warm if the wind stopped for a little while. Crystal burned a little on her chest. I think I’m slowly getting tanned. For lunch, I went to the local restaurant and bout 3 of their chicken sandwich specials, and Crystal’s special order (only if the original cook was there). So yeah, I kinda surprised Crystal with her burger, and a cup of special sauce. To make a long story short (too late) it was a good day. I’m a little sore. I’m sure my dad is hurting today. I think we’re all gonna take a day to relax. Happy Sunday, y’all! Life blogbloggercoffeejournallazy Sundaymorningspersonal blogTinyTown
