To hide or slide, I’ll do as I’ll decide and let it ride until I’ve died Shawshank, January 11, 2024 Here I am. I almost forgot to post, until my reminder on my phone went off. So I paused the game and started to post. It’s cold out there today. The last time I looked, it was -33°C out there with the wind. Thankfully my whole job isn’t standing outside. Only short bursts of being outside. Work is going very well. I get a long with all of my co-workers, and the district manager likes me. So that’s a good thing. I like being liked at work. The schedule had to change for tomorrow, due to a co-workers family member getting sick and having to go to the hospital. So instead of closing tomorrow, I’ll be opening to finish out the week. Not too bad. Which allows us to be able to have date night on the actual night. That’s a nice thing. It’s been such a schedule change since starting the new job. Any little bit of normalcy is a nice thing. OK, back to the game, later assholes! Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningsTinyTown

Actually it’s closer to 9:30-6:15. But that’s not important. We’ll get through it. Sundays can go one of two ways: wicked busy, or deathly slow. I hope that it’ll be the third option: just busy enough… Read More
Life Here’s to them underneath that burning sun do they know it’s Christmastime at all? December 20, 2025 It’s still windy out there. So I get into work yesterday afternoon. I pull into my usual spot, and realize I won’t be able to get out because of a snow drift. Long story short, I parked under the overhang. The acting manager neglected to tell us that if it… Read More
