Down by the river on a Friday night a pyramid of cans in the pale moonlight

Shawshank, June 28, 2026

Good morning. It was a bit of a shock when we both heard a notification go off to start our day. I freaked out that it was 8, and I’ve been so used to getting up at 7, or earlier. I just wasn’t mentally prepared for it to be later than normal, so my mind when to I don’t have a lot of time – which is stupid, I was just caught off guard and was yelling about it.

I’ve already apologized to Crystal.

I feel like a dick. Because I acted like one.

On our way into SlightlyBiggerTown, we stopped at the hospital to see how my dad was doing. You see the night before, he popped his hip out. And collapsed on the ground. Crystal explained it like he was a broken GI Joe. But the ambulance came and took him in. He’ll be there for a while, while the swelling goes down. Then he’ll be driven to CapitalCity, and he’ll get another surgery to put a band around it.

Work today. 8.75 hours. I believe it’ll be busy. Grad was yesterday, so I’m sure the family members that came to see their little crotch monkeys graduated, will more than likely be going home today.

Ok, let’s greet the day.

I have to remember to bring puffed wheat, and pizza for tonight.

Good morning, hello! Well, I’m sure it’s morning somewhere in the world. I just got up from a nap, and had a really good kitten snuggle. The nap, was ok. I don’t really get into a REM sleep. Just a light sleep, for an hour or so. Work was, well,…

I’m awake. The sun is slowly rising. It’s a little gray out there. But according to the weather app, it’s supposed to be, after a little rain, which I’ll doubt we’ll have, sunny and 80° out there today. It’s a perfect day for brunch later on this morning. I went…
