But with all of my tattoos and these songs I like to sing about booze

Shawshank, April 22, 2026

It’s morning. Podrick has been doing Podrick things for a while this morning. He’s a very bad boy. And it continues for about a 1/2 to 45 minutes. He’s quiet right now, but he’ll start up again soon. He just dragged himself across me.

Crystal ordered some black out curtains for the bedroom. Hopefully if he can’t really see that it’s daylight, he won’t start making noise, or getting into places, loudly, where he’s not supposed to go.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. It was my final swing shift for a while, and I’m mostly back on nights. I close a couple of days, and then open Saturday morning again. I don’t mind opening on Saturdays – it’s only like a 7 hour shift.

I have a day off today. I have to wander up to the bank, and get some coin switched to the fancy folding money. We have to drive into SlightlyBiggerTown to pick up a beanbag chair. We should be hitting up the secondhand store, and then grabbing some dinner at Dairy Queen before coming home.

I need more coffee.

It’s Wednesday my dudes.

Is it Friday yet? If not, why the hell did it snow last night? Why did it snow, when Crystal proclaimed that it was now spring? One of our customers put it perfectly. We wouldn’t have this problem, if Mother Nature was a man. Women just can’t seem to make up their minds. Heh. It…

It’s been a long, long, long time running

April 13, 2024

The sound of a cat rave woke me up briefly this morning. The big man, Chaucer, was getting a little sick around 6 I think. We sprung to readiness, and the great Crystal cleaned it up. We got back into bed. When the alarm went off, we snuggled for a bit to hear the weather…
