‘Cause there’s something in a Sunday makes a body feel alone Shawshank, February 13, 2022 With the exception of a time check at about 5, I slept through the night. A little warm, but sleeping brain doesn’t think to turn down the heated mattress pad. It’s the day of the big game. For the first time in a long time, I don’t know who’s playing. I won’t be able to watch it today. I won’t be having appetizers for dinner. About a half hour after kick off, I’ll be in The Flat by myself, probably watching Critical Role. I usually didn’t pay too much attention, unless the Patriots were playing. I was there for the commercials. Up north of the wall, I haven’t even heard any mention of the game, and only one mention of a Super Bowl commercial. But right now, it’s cold, windy, and dark out. I have some coffee, some tears in my eyes over a stupid Sports Ball game. It maybe Super Bowl Sunday, but it’s also chores day here, so that’ll keep me busy for about twenty minutes. So I’ll pose this question to you: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?! Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmoar snowmorningsTinyTownwindy
