Well I called my congressman and he said quote “I’d like to help you son, but you’re too young to vote”

I’m tired, man. I was up every couple of hours, after about 2am. My mind was thinking that I didn’t set the alarm. Spoiler alert: I did. But I couldn’t get a restful sleep at all.

I woke up cranky, and tired.

I made it through 8 hours of work, and I’m still cranky and tired. I will force myself to stay awake this afternoon. That way I’ll crash when we go to bed. At least for the next week, I can “sleep in”.

Work was pretty steady all morning. Which was nice, we were always moving. We did the work things that we needed to do. Then I popped over to Shady Acres to bring my dad’s clothes upstairs so he can go through them and get rid of the ones he doesn’t want or need anymore.

Now I’m home with my lap covered in cats. Chaucer was up first, and Pippin just forced her way on. She’s been wantbig to get onto my lap since I woke up this morning.

Mission accomplished.

It’s time to get things started On the most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational This is what we call the Muppet Show

Good morning everyone. I struggled to stay asleep and in bed until 7:30. I guess that’s as late as I can sleep in now. But it’s not too bad. I get to sleep in, but now lose a lot of time by being unconscious. It’s almost a win-win.

The lose-lose is I have to reset my alarm clock for 4:30 on Monday morning. That’s gonna hurt, lol. But that’s a problem for Future Shawshank. Future me isn’t gonna like getting up that early.

Yesterday was a nice, do nothing day. But we did get stuff accomplished. We grabbed stuff for lunch and dinner yesterday, and I helped out my mom by grabbing some pictures of the trailer, and with the help of Crystal, made a flyer. I’ll be putting fliers up around town today, and tomorrow.

Today, nothing much planned. The regular chores, and all that fun stuff. My parents are in CapitalCity for the day for an MRI scan for my dad. So we won’t be going over today. I dropped off the mail, and a Mother’s Day card yesterday. Today I have to pop back over and hang up the for sale sign on the trailer, and grab the flyers.

I’ll do that after the chores are complete.

But first, coffee. The sun is shining, and it looks nice out there. Both kittens are in the back table, enjoying the sun. This is the only time that they’ll sit or lay or sleep side by side. Pippin must be loving this, while Chaucer sees it as a necessary evil, that he has to endure, to be in the sun.

We’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there

Well hello there. I was a rebel, and last night I shut off the alarm in hopes of sleeping in a little bit. I figured that I’d sleep until 8 at the latest. I was up at 6:30. I fell back asleep and made it to wait for it, 7:30. Wow can I sleep in.

With this amount of sleep, I could almost say that I was 100% fully rested. It’s all good, I’ve figured out how to be fully rested after a sleep. This a huge boost to sleep studies.

Sheesh.

It’s the weekend. And we have absolutely no plans to speak of. We’re on our own for Sunday dinner, as my dad has an MRI scan scheduled for Sunday. So I’ll wander up to Shady Acres sometime this morning, and drop off a Mother’s Day card, and the weeks mail. That also means that I have to sit down and pay some bills.

That’ll be fun.

But it’s a bright and warm Marni g out there, and I need some more coffee. I hope y’all have a great weekend. It’s shaping up to be a good one here.

Someday the mountain might get ’em, but the law never will

Thank god it’s Friyay. I’m tired, man. It’s been a long long ass week. I’ve spentnkosy of my days this week, working second shift. The closing shift. Today, I got to experience (again) the fun of closing, and then the next day opening.

Spoiler alert, it wasn’t much fun at all.

But that doesn’t matter. It’s Friday, and that means it’s date night. It’s also bright and sunny out, and it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of wind anymore.

So yeah, that’s it. I just woke up from a nap, so I’m gonna do my best to wake up. Happy Friday everyone!
