The beautiful one let me sleep in a little bit. And I finally broke through her defences, and snuggled her just a little bit before throwing back the covers, and once again emerging into the cold cruel world.

Hello world!

The coffee has been brewed, and is currently being consumed. Chaucer is looking for a lap (mine) to lie in. I have my legs up, and he’s not too happy about that. I know for a fact, that if I straightened out my legs, he’d be laying on my lap.

Not too much on deck for today; laundry, and chores. After all that is done, I’ll have to find some wrapping paper and wrap my mom’s birthday gifts, and we’ll head over there around 3. So I should get my ass in gear.

I was smart last night, and took the bacon out of the freezer last night. Damn, I’m good.

I’m home from work.

I have learned that I don’t like getting up early.

But I switched shifts with another guy because, his grandmother isn’t doing well, so I figured that I’d help him out. Because, I hope that if I have to switch shifts last minute because of someone’s health problems, someone would switch with me.

But the balance of the weekend is ours. I don’t have to be in work until 1:15 on Monday.

Woot!

But I’m totally wiped out so I’ll cut this short have a great weekend all!

Here we are again. It’s Friday morning, and I got to sleep in a little bit. I asked for 5 minutes for snuggles, and the goddess allowed me 15 minutes. But we’re all up, and the drinks are flowing.

Coffee. Coffee is flowing.

Two more shifts and then I get Sunday off. It doesn’t sound like much, but it works itself out in the long run.

Since I already spoke about work flustered, I’ll quickly talk about what happened after work. I played some Zelda, and then we went off to the second hand store. I found a box of four hardcover Disney books from the 60s, and Crystal found a sheet to make a cute pair of pants, and a new separated food tray. All in all, we spend 5 bucks.

For dinner I cooked up some burgers, which were totes yum, if you ask me.

It’s back to work this afternoon. Happy Friyay all!

And when you’re gone, we want you all to know

Yep, here I am. Awake. Not liking it at all. Up this morning at 4:30am. Yep, the one opening shift in the last 2-3 weeks. I much prefer the closing shift. Just a little more relaxed without the manager there.

So it goes.

But I’m at home, and I have a Chaucer on my lap. Last night, Chaucer went into a deep sleep. And was very groggy for the rest of the night. He’s the type of cat, that if I picked him up, and moved him into the bedroom- he wouldn’t stay. So we made sure he was ok, and went to bed, hoping that he’d jump up and snuggle. He didn’t before I went to bed, but he was snuggled up to Crystal this morning.

I’m gonna play some Zelda. Happy whatever day it is.
