You’re all alone and the dummies might be right

Hey. Morning. I just woke up. I don’t think that I moved at all in the night. I’m pretty sure that when I woke up, I was in the exact same position as when I fell asleep. The alarm scared me this morning.

It looks cold out there. It didn’t feel too cold, but I was only out for a minute or two. I’m really starting to get tired of the cold. I’m tired of wearing layers. I’m tired of wearing a huge coat.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad at work. It was pretty steady, then it just died right down. After a couple of days of putting it off, today, I’ll hopefully be closing. I’ll talk to the other guy I’ll be working with, and I should be doing it. Yay.

I could just crawl back into bed and go to sleep. I think I’ve hit that certain age, where I’m just always tired. And no amount of sleep will change that. I have nice relaxing weekends, and by the end of them, I’m more tired at the end than the beginning.

Great.

I think that I need more coffee. I think it’s Wednesday, so happy Wednesday everyone.

When the sun’s comin’ up I got cakes on the griddle

Good morning, friends. It’s a bright, windy, and chilly outside today. We should just about hit freezing today. And I’m closing all this week. I think yesterday was about the warmest that it’ll get this week. It’s sad when a Monday will be the best day of the week.

Work yesterday wasn’t too bad. Just busy enough, with some nice little breaks in between customers. The time went pretty quickly. Which was wicked nice.

The British press released a “proof of life” video of Princess Catherine. And of course the internet doesn’t believe that it’s her. If it is her, yay! If it isn’t her, where the heck is she? Kensington Palace is really screwing this all up.

RELEASE THE PRINCESS.

Back to work later on this morning. My parents are on their way to CapitalCity for my dad to get a deep bone scan. Hopefully it’s good news. Hope for the best, expect the worst.

Saturday in the park I think it was the Fourth of July

Well, it’s another week. It’s Monday, and it’s very windy out there. I’m awake. I slept. But the closer it got to the alarm going off, the lighter sleep got. It’s daylight out. And the household is awake.

Crystal just gave the kittens some catnip, so Chaucer is pretty happy right now. The coffee has been brewed, and we’re consuming as I type this.

Yesterday was pretty good. I went over to Shady Acres to fill the buckets full of the wood stove pellets. I popped over to work to get a couple of lighters, and then back to the house.

The weekend was pretty ok. I got some terrible news on Saturday, which I think, pushed some clouds over the weekend. It really hit me last night. But I hope it doesn’t overshadow the day. Or the evening, as I’m working the closing shift this week.

Other than that, that was the weekend. Back to the grind today. I should get dressed soon. Soon.

Soon, I’ll get dressed. But for now, I’ll enjoy the coffee. Happy Monday y’all.

Kissing, I hope they caught us

I’ve gotta start taking more pictures. I’m starting to double up the featured images here. This one I’ve already used. Last week I think. It’s all good.

Good morning my friends. It’s Sunday, and you know what that means- chores and bacon. Bacon and chores. I did the laundry yesterday, because I was given some bad, terrible news. I needed to do something, so I did laundry.

BREAKING NEWS: it’s motherfucking snowing. That is all.

I’m really starting to get tired of snow happening every day here. Stop snowing. On Tuesday, it’s gonna be spring. We have to start thinking like spring, and the one thing that you do, is not snow when it’s spring. So Mother Nature really has to get this out of her system.

Please?

We did a whole bunch of not a lot yesterday. Yes, I did laundry. But not much more than that. I did go to the grocery store for some milk and soda. Then later on in the afternoon, I popped over to the bar, and ordered a pizza.

It was ok. But not great. I mean, we probably won’t be ordering from the bar again. If we have a hankering for pizza, we’ll order on pizza night, then we can get some free appetizers as well.

But now, coffee.
