Saturday in the park I think it was the Fourth of July Shawshank, March 18, 2024 Well, it’s another week. It’s Monday, and it’s very windy out there. I’m awake. I slept. But the closer it got to the alarm going off, the lighter sleep got. It’s daylight out. And the household is awake. Crystal just gave the kittens some catnip, so Chaucer is pretty happy right now. The coffee has been brewed, and we’re consuming as I type this. Yesterday was pretty good. I went over to Shady Acres to fill the buckets full of the wood stove pellets. I popped over to work to get a couple of lighters, and then back to the house. The weekend was pretty ok. I got some terrible news on Saturday, which I think, pushed some clouds over the weekend. It really hit me last night. But I hope it doesn’t overshadow the day. Or the evening, as I’m working the closing shift this week. Other than that, that was the weekend. Back to the grind today. I should get dressed soon. Soon. Soon, I’ll get dressed. But for now, I’ll enjoy the coffee. Happy Monday y’all. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningsTinyTown

So technically I’ve been up for a while, but I’ve been trying to fall back asleep. It did work. But it’s also a good thing. We got shit to do today. I have all the chores I didn’t… Read More
Life He said “The clock on the wall say three o’clock last call for alcohol, so what you need?” July 11, 2025 So it was a combination of things this morning that caused me to be up at the ass-crack of dawn. I couldn’t breathe, my nose was leaking, Podrick, I was very warm, Podrick, I lost my mask, I couldn’t get comfortable and breathe at the same time. You know, the… Read More
