And Betty when you call me, you can call me Al

Shawshank, October 16, 2020

Happy Friday everyone. I think I pretty much slept like a log last night. But like Crystal, I don’t feel rested. Maybe it’s just because I just woke up, and I’m waiting for the coffee to brew.

The junk guys visited Crystal this morning and from what she says the kitties are not taking it well, and she saved some couch cushions to sleep on. My mom ordered her to sleep on something.

I’m a head of we’re I need to be for the book club, so contrary to what I told Crystal, I grabbed Sharp Objects to read after our video call. I’m pretty sure I’ve read Gone Girl before, but Gillian Flynn can paint a picture with words.

I don’t think there’s any plans for today. We did everything yesterday. Last night I was shown how to light the pellet stove. Which is good, because it feels like -12c out there.

Be safe everyone.

Good morning, party people. It’s dig out day. Surprisingly, the town has plows out clearing the streets this morning. I don’t think I’ve seen or heard plows out on a Sunday before. We’ll be starting to dig out, and chores a little later. I’d like to wake up a little first. It’s bright clear and…
