A cabin in the woods by a running creek two calicos in the yard snowflakes on your cheek Shawshank, August 17, 2026 Good morning! I’m not used to seeing sun this early, or at all! But here it is, for two days in a row (in a row?!). I know the sun will become more elusive over the next couple of weeks. Podrick was the goodest boy of all time this morning. I needed a little sleep-in, and the orange meatball totally let me sleep in an extra 20 minutes. He didn’t use me as an alley to get to the dressers. If he wasn’t so heavy, I’d snuggle him and carry him around this morning. One last shift before a couple of days off, and it couldn’t come quicker. I’m running out of socks and underwear! I’ll take care of laundry tomorrow. I think I even know what day it is. Every day seems to just run into the next. I do know it’s not the weekend, because NBC News is actually playing the news. So I guess I’ll start the day. Refill the coffee, turn up the news a little. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningspersonal blogTinyTown
