You’re so fine, I want you mine, you’re so delicious

Shawshank, May 11, 2023

Well, hey how’s it going? Me? As per usual, I crashed last night. I didn’t turn my bed up last night, keeping it at level 1. I don’t think I feel as groggy as I have been, but it was only the first night without melatonin. We’ll see what it’s like tomorrow. So far so good.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad, slow but not too bad. Quiet in the morning, but I got a lot of little things taken care of. Mostly it was just in a holding pattern. I didn’t want start painting the deck because the weather app said we were expecting thunder storms – in fact most of the early afternoon was thunder storm warnings, and for about an hour or so. But each time the warnings went off, I’d look outside.

Sunny and a couple of clouds.

I ended up doing a second coat about 3:30-4ish. I only have to touch up the dark stain, and then just the other half of the deck and we should be done.

Not bad for a dude that’s never painted/stained a deck.

The reviews are starting to come out for Tears of the Kingdom. So until tomorrow, I have to avoid them. Shouldn’t be too hard. I’d definitely watch a review, if there’s no spoilers – spoken or visual. But that would be too hard for any reviewer to handle. So I’ll ignore them.

I need to refill my coffee. Happy Thursday y’all! Almost to the weekend!

Welp, I’m awake. Chaucer only dropped a short single last night, so we were able to fall asleep quickly. There was no dawn release, so we were able to sleep in to the normal wake up time. Work wasn’t too bad yesterday evening. It’s was steady at points, but we…

Very superstitious, the Devil’s on his way

March 10, 2025

Good Monday morning everyone. Another gray day out there, the Flat is awake and we’re typing up our morning posts, while the talking heads talk on TV. Chaucer is slowly lowering himself down onto my lap, while Pippin wants up as well. The laundry got taken care of yesterday, but…
