You got a real good oven, you’ve got a hot range, too let me butter your buns while you stir the stew Shawshank, February 10, 2022 Yawn, morning everyone. We’ll that was a sleep I guess. I was up multiple times, each time having to pee. The last time, my knee decided to lock up. I didn’t really have to pee but I did anyways. So I was up at 2, then 3, then finally 5, before I slept until the alarm went off. It’s been a long time since I slept that terrible. So it goes. The coffee is nice and warm. It’s pretty windy out there this morning. It’s rain/snowing. And it’s pretty windy outside. It’s supposed to be like this pretty much all day. Ok, I’m gonna drink coffee and try to wake up. Happy Thursday. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningsrainsnowTinyTown
Life Sipping whiskey out the bottle, not thinking ’bout tomorrow March 20, 2021 I’ve been awake on and off since about 6:20. I dozed until 6:50 and then got up and got dressed. I packed the truck up and took off. Then did I look at the clock. 7:11. The truck is unpacked, and I’m enjoying my first cup of coffee in The… Read More
Life Two-steppin’ on the table, she don’t need a dance floor November 22, 2025 I was up early this morning. It was dark out in the living room. I brewed coffee, and got dressed. I slept ok. But, I’m still tired. I had the opening shift this morning. I opened with Bing Bing, and we got through the first small rush. After a couple… Read More
Life She’s a good girl, loves her mama loves Jesus and America, too August 25, 2022 Good morning peoples. We’re getting so much closer to the weekend. I can almost taste the weekend air. Can you? I slept like the dead last night. Half on one side, and half on the other. I think Pippin came in at some point. I know she was next to… Read More
Good morning, world. The morning is sunny and cool again. If I don’t look at the ground, it looks almost warm out there. The backyard is covered with brown leaves, but the trees aren’t entirely bare. Unlike February in New England, where all the trees are bare and everything is brown, there’s still some leaves on the trees here, as well as lawn. However, nothing is really green. We can’t expect any real heat anytime this week, unfortunately. According to Shawshank‘s morning post, his sleep was just as rough as mine last night. I had trouble a little falling asleep, mostly just more of the same birthday upset. However, I freely admit it’s my fault I’m upset. I can’t get upset when I make several posts about shitty gifts and then still expect to receive gifts. So yeah. That sucked. I put on a sleepytime video queue to settle down a little. After a couple of underwater resin diorama builds, I was more relaxed and focused on going to sleep. The melatonin risk vs. reward didn’t work out in my favor last night. While my dreams weren’t full-blown terrifying nightmares like the other night, whatever I was dreaming last night was unsettling. I woke up a couple of times. It looks like we’ll be staying here for the Superbowl, which is good. Initially, I was a little annoyed we would be spending it with the “Compound Crew”. I knew everyone was going to be together, it was just a matter of where the gathering would be. As much as I look forward to the halftime show (because OMG that’s like my poi/flow playlist summed up in 14 minutes), I didn’t want to be over there for it. There’s no escaping the inevitable comments because there’s some brown people on the TV. That shit won’t fly over here. Additionally, Shawshank pointed out I can escape into my room if I need to. I promised to break in my new pipe and smoke my face off if shit gets bad. Plus, if we’re here, I can make my own less-guilty snacks. I’ll need to tidy my bathroom a bit before Sunday. I don’t have anything planned for today. I have to wash some clothes, and I might dye my hair. Mom has her very first virtual doctor’s visit, and I’ll have to be around to help with that. The weather might be nice enough to find a creek to make a freshwater ecosphere, but I’d have to actually leave the house for that sort of thing. I may not want to be trapped inside, but I certainly don’t want to actually make an effort to go anywhere. Reply
