You got a real good oven, you’ve got a hot range, too let me butter your buns while you stir the stew Shawshank, February 10, 2022 Yawn, morning everyone. We’ll that was a sleep I guess. I was up multiple times, each time having to pee. The last time, my knee decided to lock up. I didn’t really have to pee but I did anyways. So I was up at 2, then 3, then finally 5, before I slept until the alarm went off. It’s been a long time since I slept that terrible. So it goes. The coffee is nice and warm. It’s pretty windy out there this morning. It’s rain/snowing. And it’s pretty windy outside. It’s supposed to be like this pretty much all day. Ok, I’m gonna drink coffee and try to wake up. Happy Thursday. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningsrainsnowTinyTown
Life And I’m too clever and then I’m too fucking dumb January 29, 2025January 29, 2025 Good morning. The kitties are snuggled on top, and beside me. They were really good this morning. No screaming, just a little last night. I think I fell asleep and didn’t move throughout the night. At one point I was woken up when I tried to roll over my back… Read More
Life I want a girl with a smooth liquidation (smooth liquidation) January 17, 2023 Welcome to Tuesday! Here, have a cup of coffee. We went to bed a little early last night. That was totally fine by me. I wasn’t feeling too well yesterday. From about 1 or so yesterday afternoon, I could’ve napped. I didn’t. By I could’ve. So we went to bed… Read More
Life But still I’m just keeping it real still September 7, 2020 Good morning! It’s a little crisp out there this morning. It’s labour day, and my dad is waiting for a part that he can’t get until tomorrow, so he’s home. I’m going to assume that we’ll finish off his list of stuff to do, but after his afternoon nap. So… Read More
Good morning, world. The morning is sunny and cool again. If I don’t look at the ground, it looks almost warm out there. The backyard is covered with brown leaves, but the trees aren’t entirely bare. Unlike February in New England, where all the trees are bare and everything is brown, there’s still some leaves on the trees here, as well as lawn. However, nothing is really green. We can’t expect any real heat anytime this week, unfortunately. According to Shawshank‘s morning post, his sleep was just as rough as mine last night. I had trouble a little falling asleep, mostly just more of the same birthday upset. However, I freely admit it’s my fault I’m upset. I can’t get upset when I make several posts about shitty gifts and then still expect to receive gifts. So yeah. That sucked. I put on a sleepytime video queue to settle down a little. After a couple of underwater resin diorama builds, I was more relaxed and focused on going to sleep. The melatonin risk vs. reward didn’t work out in my favor last night. While my dreams weren’t full-blown terrifying nightmares like the other night, whatever I was dreaming last night was unsettling. I woke up a couple of times. It looks like we’ll be staying here for the Superbowl, which is good. Initially, I was a little annoyed we would be spending it with the “Compound Crew”. I knew everyone was going to be together, it was just a matter of where the gathering would be. As much as I look forward to the halftime show (because OMG that’s like my poi/flow playlist summed up in 14 minutes), I didn’t want to be over there for it. There’s no escaping the inevitable comments because there’s some brown people on the TV. That shit won’t fly over here. Additionally, Shawshank pointed out I can escape into my room if I need to. I promised to break in my new pipe and smoke my face off if shit gets bad. Plus, if we’re here, I can make my own less-guilty snacks. I’ll need to tidy my bathroom a bit before Sunday. I don’t have anything planned for today. I have to wash some clothes, and I might dye my hair. Mom has her very first virtual doctor’s visit, and I’ll have to be around to help with that. The weather might be nice enough to find a creek to make a freshwater ecosphere, but I’d have to actually leave the house for that sort of thing. I may not want to be trapped inside, but I certainly don’t want to actually make an effort to go anywhere. Reply
