WWW Wednesday

Shawshank, December 16, 2020December 16, 2020

This is a simple one to do. But I like it. It’s just a wicked quick blurb and window into what’s going on here at the Lockup Library.

What are you currently reading?

I’m actually reading two books; Brave New World, and The Girl on The Train. I hope to have Brave New World finished soon.

What have you recently finished reading?

The last book I finished was Full Dark, No Stars. A book full of short stories by Stephen King. I really enjoyed them. Just enough meat on the plate to paint a picture, then boom! Next story.

What do you plan on reading next?

That’s a very good question. I usually crowd source what I read next from my readers, but I might snag a Christmas book from work. See the boss brought in boxes of books to donate to the library, and we’ve been taking the books that we want. There’s a Christmas mystery there that I might take and read. Or maybe Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I haven’t decided.

Why do you read?

January 4, 2021January 4, 2021

I read for a number of reasons. Before, I didn’t have anything else to do. So I read to pass the time. I hoarded books under my bed. I think before I left, I had about 20 books in my “TBR” or to be read pile. Some of them looked…
