Well, we’re all in the mood for a melody Shawshank, October 21, 2023 This is going to be a quick post, as I’ll be heading into work a little early this morning, in about a half hour or so. Since we’re still technically closed in preparation for the big sale, there’s just a couple of things that I want to take care of before we open again next week. I didn’t sleep all that great last night. Pippin really wanted to snuggle this morning around 3. I tried to make a space for her. She cuddled up, but then she suddenly didn’t want to be there, so she got up, and ran some place else. She tried that once or twice. It looks like it’s supposed to be somewhat nice out there. Highs in the 50s, and all that. Hopefully it won’t be windy like it was yesterday. That’s a good thing because one thing that I have to do is to clean out a bit of the warehouse. But everything will be ready for next week. We’ve done pretty much all that we can. It was a total group effort. Just the final push now Four hours between me and the weekend. I think I can make it! I had a pretty good sleep last night. Warm and snuggly. Did you know that TinyTown has a door to door fish salesman? I sure didn’t. But I… Read More
Life In Flanders fields, the poppies blow November 11, 2021 I’m very disappointed in TinyTown today. I got to the cenotaph at 11 am, and promptly shovelled it out. there were some snow drifts around it, and I wanted it to look good when the ceremony started momentarily. At the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day,… Read More
