Well, the road was hot and flat as a ruler good hundred miles between me and Missoula Shawshank, March 11, 2026 It snowed again, in the night. I’ll let that sink in. I believe all of us have, once again, been fooled by false spring. There’s usually 2-3 false springs. So yeah. Fucking false spring. A little bit of bad news yesterday. My gramma has passed away. Early yesterday morning my mom said. She simply just stopped breathing. I believe she would’ve been 96 (?) next month. I spent the majority of yesterday at work thinking of all the things we used to do when I was a little kid. One of my favorite memories was, and this is stupid. I don’t remember who got it, I think it was my grampa. It was a 5 or 6 foot rubber snake to put in the strawberry garden to keep other animals out, I guess. I remember chasing my gramma’s around their house with it, laughing like a maniac. I still remember their phone number as well. Nothing too much planned for today. We’ll be heading into SlightlyBiggerTown for some supplies, because I worked last Saturday, and I’m working this weekend, so my day off is the only time we’ll have the time to go. So we’ll pop over and grab some Subway sandwiches for a late lunch/massively early dinner. I just want it to stop snowing. I want spring. I don’t need second winter. I do need more coffee.
