That was the weirdest sleep I’ve had in a while. I crashed hard last night, and went to bed, leaving The Beautiful One to close up the Flat last night. I barely got the coffee ready, before stumbling to the bedroom and getting out of my clothes. I was just about asleep when Crystal climbed into bed.

I was up around 1 I think, letting the little cat into the bedroom as I went to the bathroom. I don’t know if after I got back into bed, if I got up and kicked Podrick out of the room again, or if that was a couple hours later. A couple of hours later, I heard a weird sound and went to investigate. One of the cats pulled out a piece of aluminum foil from behind the TV (it’s there to stop the cats from walking behind the TV). I put it back and got into bed. Remembering now this is when I closed Podrick out and went back to bed. Podrick protested for a little bit, but I fell asleep again.
Sometime in the night he, very loudly, sucked on Crystal’s hand. It felt very close to my ear, and I brought a hand up to try and stop him even just for a second – he was maybe 8 inches from my head. Good times!
Yesterday was a nice day. Rainy all day – I was very happy I didn’t have to work yesterday. I would’ve been soaked. Every time I looked out the kitchen window, it was splattered with rain drops. We made some magic butter for some brownies (see first paragraph), and when that was ready, we made them and let them cool – our special tray was for when we watched Worlds Collide later in the evening.
For dinner we had poutine, which was really good. I did the dishes, and we watched a couple shows about rich people living in castles, and the rich people problems they have trying to restore the castles, live in them, and having them open for tours to the public. Shortly after that, I put on AAA’s Worlds Collide. And let me tell you guys, we were sports entertained for sure. Not a single match was boring, and everything flowed very well.

Laundry to be started shortly. We have to pop over to the old folks home to pick up a rocking chair, because there’s no room in my grandmothers room for it anymore. So we’ll grab that, and then head over to Shady Acres for dinner. Work tomorrow afternoon, so things my last day to play. Chore day.
More coffee first.
