The stars at night are big and bright (clap, clap, clap, clap) Deep in the heart of Texas

Good morning! It’s the start of another work week here. I miss my heated mattress pad. I woke up cold cold COLD this morning. It’s my fault though, I didn’t realize it would get as cold as it did with the window open. Granted, it’s not open much, but it’s open enough for me to wake up with diamond hard neeps. Seriously, do you need some glass cut?

Last full week of me living at Shady Acres. I go through phases of being really excited, really scared, and worrying about my mom and family. My mom joke about having to go through the whole “empty nest syndrome” all over again, but you can tell she’s going to miss me. She says I do a lot around the place to help. I guess I do. I don’t see it, but she does.

Coffees ready!

I hope y’all have a great day!
