Good morning. Sleep was a little bit of a battle last night/this morning. I think I woke up briefly when Crystal got into bed. Then again at 3. I think my body was trying to be awake in case my alarm didn’t go off.

Well guess what? It worked as intended. And now here we are.

Yesterday was very nice. We got up as per usual, and lazed around until I had an idea – let’s go to SlightlyBiggerTown and go to the second hand store! So that’s what we did. Nothing seemed to jump out at us. In fact the store looked very empty. Nothing interested us so we left.

We were a little early so we grabbed lunch before we went to the second hand store. That was waiting for us, so we drove home and ate unfettered by having to put away groceries. From there we didn’t do too much of anything. I played No Man’s Sky, while Crystal and Chaucer napped.

It was a good day. And today should be pretty nice too. Aside from the cold and the wind out there today. We’ll survive.

Back at the roadhouse they got some bungalows

Good morning, friends. Here we are again. Wicked early in the morning. The coffee is still brewing, and for the most part, Pippin is running around like a crazy person.

It’s dark and cold out there, pretty normal stuff.

I passed right out last night. I only woke up once, and it was around 2am. But thankfully, I fell back asleep until the alarm went off.

I’ll leave you with a picture. I think Pippin was looking for a book in the night.

It’s close to midnight and something evil’s lurking in the dark

Ok, I gotta make this one quick, I have to pack a lunch today. Yesterday was somewhat easy- all I had to do was pack some leftovers the night before. Well, I ate those, so I have to build from scratch today.

Also today, it’s Friyay! It’s hard to tell by my bleary eyed look right now, but I’m hella excited about this development. I just don’t have the energy to show it yet!

Last night, when my head hit the pillow, I was all the way out. I fell asleep with Pippin snuggled up to my neck/shoulder area. I was out. I didn’t feel Crystal come to bed, but that’s pretty normal. I didn’t roll over to get more comfortable, I was out until my alarm went off.

I’m impressed with myself.

Work was pretty slow yesterday. It’s the week in between holidays. It’s expected. But we made it through, and we’re slowly pushing to the weekend. Just the early shift today, and then New Year’s Eve, and boom! It’s the new year already.

2024.

Scary.

Oh god, I need more coffee. Happy Friyay all. Let’s get the day started.

Heart breaker, soul shaker I’ve been told about you

Welp, here we are again. Up at the ass crack of dawn. I’ve actually been up for about 15 minutes before the alarm. That’s the story. When it’s my day off, I’ll sleep right up to the alarm. Work days, up before the alarm. I can’t explain it, and I’m not too fond of it.

Anyways, it’s dark. It’s always dark. But I have some coffee, and the weather seems agreeable this morning.

I think we had a pretty good day yesterday. I got the notice that the Christmas package had arrived. I picked it up, and ran/walked back to the Flat. I hurriedly wrapped up the package and brought them out to Crystal.

I did really well! She loved everything that I had picked out. I’m sure in a couple of hours when she gets up (she’s already awake, but I wouldn’t get out of bed if I were here), she’ll post all the individual items.

After the presents, and a couple of hours later, we went out and Crystal got her hair did. It looks amazing. I was told I’ve done a great job of keeping the lines straight. I’ve done a good job. Woot!

Ok time for me to continue with the morning stuff. I’m a little ahead of the game, I packed the last of the chicken bowls, so lunch is taken care of.

Good morning my friends. It’s Friday! We’ve made it to the weekend. I have tomorrow off, but have to work Sunday. That’s ok, I’m the low man on the totem pole. I understand, and it’s ok.

So we’re sitting here last night watching tv. I think it was Antiques Roadshow, and I get a text. Weird. I look over and it’s old BossLady. She says she has something for me. I told her I was working until 4, and could stop by on the way home. I wonder what she has for me. Crystal seems to think that she might have a Christmas present for me. I have no idea.

So yeah I don’t have to be in until 8, so I have some coffee and I’m slowly waking up. The alarm was set for 6:30, but my mind woke me up at 5 saying that the alarm wasn’t set properly. Spoiler alert; it totally was, and went off without a hitch at 6:30.

So I’m gonna cut this short, I have to get ready for work, and whatever happens at OldWork. We’ll see. But I also think that tonight could possibly be a date night. So that’s a good thing, and totes exciting
