Finger paint the sun

Since it’s Thursday, the second hand store is open. I usually go and check out what books they have. I’ll pick up a book, and then put it down – leaving it to fate. If it’s there the next time I go in, I’ll pick it up. On Tuesday, there was a Jack Reacher novel. I put it back. Today I figured if it was there, I’d grab it.

It was there.

I bring it up to the counter, and the lady said it’s all you can stuff into a bag, it’s $5. Well then. Guess what I did?

“Dude, i filled the cup…”

I figure that if there’s some duds, I’ll bring them back, and then someone else can start the circle all over again.

I could’ve fit a few more in the bag, but nothing was jumping out at me, and I really had to pee. Plus, I still had to get the mail on the way home.

So I turned on some tunes, and started walking. It’s a short walk to the post office, maybe 5 or 10 minutes. I’m still getting used to YouTube Music. Aside from the terrible UI, the other wicked annoying thing YTM does is stop after EVERY song. So you’re always going and hitting play. But it’s kinda random. It’ll play 2 or 3 songs, then play one at a time. It’s wicked annoying.

Only a couple hours until Crystal gets home, I can’t wait!

Good morning, happy Thursday. Or Pre-Friday. Pre-Friday sounds a lot better, if you ask me. Who else is excited to hear Trump give his speech to the RNC?

Speaking of destruction, I hope everyone in the wake of hurricane Laura are ok. Just saw a little bit of it on the bottom of the screen on CNN, and it’s still a cat 2. Be safe everyone.

I’m up, dressed, and have a giant cup of coffee in front of me. Today we go into YetAnotherSlightlyBiggerTown to go grocery shopping. But as of right now, everyone is still asleep. It’s nice to have some “leave me the hell alone, and let me wake up” time.

So, let me wake up and drink some coffee. Have a great morning interwebs.

Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true

According to the the grandfather clock that just went off, it’s 8 am. It was an ok sleep last night. Still stuffed up and I got a cramp from coughing last night. I got up and stole one of my gramma’s cough drops. It helped, and I fell asleep again

Last night, Crystal and I watched part of the RNC. We made fun of Eric “I’M ERIC” Trump, and had a blast roasting Melania and her speech last night. It’s amazing the lies they can spit out. But like Brian “I was there” Williams said, she’s been the first one that has actually expressed remorse and sadness over the deaths from COVID-19. While I’M ERIC! bunny eared the term ‘fly-over state’, and is the president of Trump Winery.

Apparently, there was a shooting in Wisconsin, and the talking head was saying there was a guy with a rifle or assault weapon strapped to his chest with his hands up, and people were yelling “he shot someone! He shot someone!” And two cop cars just drove right past him. Insanity.

While here in TinyTown, it’s a quiet overcast morning. Mom has to go to get a part, and drive it out to the farm, I’ll probably go. If I am, I should be drinking my coffee faster.

No speed limit… this is the fast lane

What a wonderful afternoon! Quiet. No noise other than a fan going. My mom had to pick up some parts for my dad in the SlightlyBiggerTowns and asked if I wanted to come for a drive. I declined. All. Alone.

It’s nice to just be alone. I ate lunch, and then, because I can, took a shower. I didn’t have to ask if anyone needed to use the bathroom, nothing. I walked, naked, from my room to the bathroom. Then when I was finished, naked from the bathroom to my bedroom.

Glorious.

I didn’t have to say where I was going, when I went to the second hand store. Just popped my headphones in, cranked some tunes, and went for a walk.

Now, I have some water, and I’m going to read ‘Ship of Theseus’ for a while, until my mom and gramma get back. What a wonderful afternoon!

That’s for all my new friends from Germany that have been visiting my site and poking around. Well good morning. Happy Tuesday. It’s overcast here this morning, but it’s supposed to get sunny, and hotter in a few hours. I’m sitting here watching CNN, and drinking coffee. It’s pretty much a dumpster fire down there, huh!?

Not too much going on, will probably head over to the second hand store today, and see what they have, if anything that jumps out at me.

But happy Tuesday, I’m gonna drink my coffee now, and find something less depressing than CNN.
