Better show me a teasin’ squeezin’ pleasin’ kinda time

First off, big thanks to Crystal for sending me my featured image. I ran out of pictures earlier this week, and have been recycling them all week.

Tomorrow, I’ll be heading to SlightlyBiggerTown. I’m very excited. I’ll be by myself. I’ll have my pay check. And I’ll be by myself.

I can’t wait.

Seriously. Can’t wait.

Just have to make it through today.

I moved stuff around in my bedroom, so you can move around easier. I moved the dresser next to the bed. The bed is so tall (how tall is it?) that the dresser is my night table. And it’s so big, I’m using half of it for more of a satellite night table that holds the phone, bed, and Kleenex. Haha

I even managed to do some reading! So be looking forward to a book club post this afternoon. Woo!

But it’s Sunday, and I’m watching Lucky Christmas starring Elizabeth Berkeley. I came into it half way through, and it’s terrible. Terrible in a cheesy Christmas, you know they’re gonna get together in the end kind of way.

Girl when I break you off – I promise you won’t want to get off

So work was good yesterday. I managed to put out some fires, and sell a few things. Big ticket items. I felt really good when I left the shop.

The commute home was pretty easy. Five minutes on foot and I was home. What I didn’t know is that my dad had been home since 3:30, and was working on the bed frame to the king sized mattress. I had to rush around to clean out my room. Everything out. Disassemble the day bed. Books in a old ladies style shopping cart.

Then we started to build. We stopped once to have dinner, and by 8ish I believe, the bed was on it and by 9, made and everything was back in the room.

I slept well, I didn’t stretch out I stayed in the size of the day bed. The one thing I noticed right before blissful sleep took hold was;

Wow, this is the first bed that me feet don’t hang off the end. That’s cool.

Then I was out like a light, and didn’t really move until right before my alarm went off.

Coffees on, happy Saturday y’all!

Policeman taps his shades – is that a Chevy 69?

First thought this morning: yay, it’s Saturday.

Narrator: it is, in fact, not Saturday.

Least it’s Friyay, and I’m not dreaming of Saturday, on say Monday. So that’s a good thing fo sho.

I was busy helping my dad help me build a bed frame for the king size bed I got last night. The basic frame should be built by Saturday. I can’t wait to princess star-fish on it. I haven’t been able to stretch out in bed in a long time. He’s even building Crystal a step stool to get in!

Time to grab some coffee and start the day! Happy Friday everyone! We made it!

Yes sir officer Obie, I cannot tell a lie – I put that envelope under that garbage

Good morning! Happy Thursday. Or as my wife calls it, happy Thanksgiving. I slept like the dead last night.

Construction started on the bed frame last night. More probably tonight for a little bit. There’s going to be a flight of stairs in the side so Crystal can climb up into it.

Work was a lot better yesterday. I don’t know why, somethings just seemed to click. Designers are needy people. I technically got paid yesterday, even though it doesn’t go through until Monday. It’s a pretty nice cheque, I’ll be able to pay my gramma back for her purchasing the wood for my bed frame.

Two more shifts. Today and tomorrow, and I’ll have a 3 day weekend. Happy Thursday everyone. Binge a good show, and binge on some good take away this evening!

I hear her voice in the morning hour – she calls to me

Good sleep. Wake up to a different coffee pot. Couldn’t get it to work for 20 minutes. Why doesn’t it just have a frigging on/off button? It has 2 sliders, and 3 buttons. I shouldn’t need a PhD to turned the damned thing on.

Excuse me I need to get some coffee.

I think I remember having weird dreams. Not weird bad, but I do remember at one point in my dreams thinking I should remember this to tell Crystal later. But alas, earwax, I can’t remember them at all.

Today, I have a couple things to do, I gotta relocate the “Romance Rack” – the Nora Roberts bookcase back to its rightful place in the living room. Then we’re gonna head to SlightlyBiggerTown for some basic groceries.

Happy Monday y’all
