You could have a bumper car, bumping this amusement never ends

Here I am. Home from work, where a crop duster was buzzing the store. Loud as hell when they’re only about 100 feet off the ground. Scared an old lady at the ATM.

When I got up it was dark. Dark and cold. I was told that today was going to be sunny and 70°. I was lied to. Now it’s tomorrow, that’s supposed to be like 70. stop taunting me with what’s left of nice temperatures. This summer has been pure crap weather-wise. I’ve worn a hoodie more than I haven’t this summer. Hopefully native-american summer will come full force to repel the fall.

Winter is coming.

I have my lunch in the oven, and a frozen pizza for dinner in the freezer. I’m going to try not to fall asleep on the couch, but if it comes, I’ll try not to say no.

Full day of work tomorrow. With Bing Bing. Yay.

I’m just a girl, what’s my destiny?

We’re awake. Podrick is back to being Podrick. We fell asleep swiftly last night, and orange baby wasn’t doing his usual run of death. I’m pretty sure he just curled up with us and fell asleep around the same time as we did.

I now know what parents feel like when they finally get a day away from their baby. I cleaned the kitchen – keeping the doors unlocked. I cleaned the kitchen table, and puttered around. Pippin really enjoyed a Podrick-free day by hunkering down on my lap for as long as she possibly could. If I was sitting down in the couch, she was on my legs. It’s been months since she’s laid in my legs. Hopefully, she’ll snuggle like that again. If Podrick doesn’t act like Podrick when she’s around.

Back to work this afternoon. It’s a triple block this weekend. Open tomorrow, then go grocery shopping – then all day on Sunday. It’ll be a grind. A grind that I’m not looking forward to, especially Sunday. I’m working with an ADHD addled 15 year old. It’s gonna be a long day. But I’m not looking that far ahead. It’s gonna be a pretty good day. I can feel it.

Happy Friyay everyone! It’s your weekend!

Well, we’re all in the mood for a melody and you’ve got us feelin’ alright

Good morning. You can tell fall is on its way – it’s colder than a witches tit out in the rest of The Flat. The kitties have been fed. Well, Pippin has. Podrick is still eating. It’s the build up of yummy food today. Because, no food or water after 6 today. Podrick has his procedure tomorrow morning.

The Beautiful One isn’t feeling all that great this morning. I believe she felt like this the last time fall threatened our doors. She’s currently dozing next to me. I hope she’s ok. She’s so pretty, but I worry when she’s not feeling good.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. Pretty much what I wished for; just busy enough to move the time pretty well. No crazy people or even truly stupid people. It was a good day. We got shit done, and looked good while doing it. And the bonus: we get to do it all over again today!

Foreign types with their hookah pipes say walk like an Egyptian.

I slept in a little. To me, it didn’t feel like I was sleeping, but mostly l, I think I did. Crystal was up playing on her phone. I tried to snuggle her, as I was, at the time, mostly cold. Podrick was starting to be Podrick, so I picked him up and climbed back into bed. Then almost immediately, I got out of bed, and let Podrick back in while I went to the bathroom.

But, we’re all up now, and we have coffee. The news is playing, and it’s due to possibly be about 20°s cooler than the last week or so here. Winter is coming. but it’s the day to go back to work. I think I’m ready for it. I’ve had about 3 days off, so I’m ready. It’s gonna be a good day and we’re both gonna kick some ass today!

It’s been a really nice time off. We didn’t do a lot, but got a lot of things done and completed. So technically, we were wicked busy all weekend! Yeah, it was a weekend of wrestling, with Smackdown on Friday, Clash in Paris on Sunday, and Raw on Monday. It’s been a weekend for sure. It was just what I needed. Time off with an awesome chick, and two pretty great cats. My life is pretty good.

Midnight and I’ve been waitin’ on the 12:05

Here we are. Podrick is being 100% Podrick this morning. I was the one that pulled him off my night stand, and tossed him into the hallway, so if possible, I could get another hour of sleep. And I did get another hour of sleep. But sometime in the night I think Podrick took my mask off my face, so I had to improvise. I grabbed my buff, and threw that on, and climbed back into bed, and forcing myself to relax, I fell back asleep.

We watched Clash in Paris yesterday. It’s been weird watching wrestling at noon. Today will be the last day to watch it so early. I was sports entertained by all the matches. They were all good, with a couple of surprises. Both the Beautiful One and I thought they put on a great show. I’m pretty sure the John Cena had the biggest reaction from the audience. Like I told Crystal, you’re gonna yell as loud as you can, it’s his final appearance in France as a wrestler. And he still put on an amazing match.

I need an allergy pill, and a refill on my coffee. Happy Monday, bitches!
