That’s great, it starts with an earthquake

Good morning my friends. I trust y’all had a good sleep. It’s Monday morning, and it’s a gray day out there.

I slept pretty meh. I locked Podrick out of the bedroom, but around 7 I thought I’d let him back in while I dozed a little longer. Well, that didn’t work, and we’re all up now.

As you can see, I don’t just post the “you win” screen shots. I’ll post the bad runs as well. I was pretty hopeful as I was playing, and said to myself I can do this, I have 6 hands. Spoiler alert, I couldn’t even with 6 hands. My flush just wasn’t where it was supposed to be. But I gave it my all.

Back to work this afternoon, it’s gonna be a good day.

Then I fumbled through my closet, for my clothes and found my cleanest dirty shirt

That was the weirdest sleep I’ve had in a while. I crashed hard last night, and went to bed, leaving The Beautiful One to close up the Flat last night. I barely got the coffee ready, before stumbling to the bedroom and getting out of my clothes. I was just about asleep when Crystal climbed into bed.

I was up around 1 I think, letting the little cat into the bedroom as I went to the bathroom. I don’t know if after I got back into bed, if I got up and kicked Podrick out of the room again, or if that was a couple hours later. A couple of hours later, I heard a weird sound and went to investigate. One of the cats pulled out a piece of aluminum foil from behind the TV (it’s there to stop the cats from walking behind the TV). I put it back and got into bed. Remembering now this is when I closed Podrick out and went back to bed. Podrick protested for a little bit, but I fell asleep again.

Sometime in the night he, very loudly, sucked on Crystal’s hand. It felt very close to my ear, and I brought a hand up to try and stop him even just for a second – he was maybe 8 inches from my head. Good times!

Yesterday was a nice day. Rainy all day – I was very happy I didn’t have to work yesterday. I would’ve been soaked. Every time I looked out the kitchen window, it was splattered with rain drops. We made some magic butter for some brownies (see first paragraph), and when that was ready, we made them and let them cool – our special tray was for when we watched Worlds Collide later in the evening.

For dinner we had poutine, which was really good. I did the dishes, and we watched a couple shows about rich people living in castles, and the rich people problems they have trying to restore the castles, live in them, and having them open for tours to the public. Shortly after that, I put on AAA’s Worlds Collide. And let me tell you guys, we were sports entertained for sure. Not a single match was boring, and everything flowed very well.

Laundry to be started shortly. We have to pop over to the old folks home to pick up a rocking chair, because there’s no room in my grandmothers room for it anymore. So we’ll grab that, and then head over to Shady Acres for dinner. Work tomorrow afternoon, so things my last day to play. Chore day.

More coffee first.

Motownphilly’s back again doin’ a little east coast swing

Oooh we gon b making some butter today, if you know what I mean. 😉 and that’s fr fr no cap, all gas no brakes, skibidi rizz, my name is John Conner. See iykyk. And it’s gonna be glorious. I love brownies. Time to break out the tiny crockpot.

Good morning my friends. Podrick started this morning, and I took him out of the bedroom as quickly as I could, and I fell back to sleep. I tried to snuggle The Beautiful One, but I think she was too warm, and dashed my snuggle plans. now that I think of it, the bed was a little warm, so I don’t blame her, as I run hot most of the time.

It’s another gray day out there. And again it looked like it rained in the night. We heard rumblings of some thunder in the distance as we were falling asleep, but I didn’t hear anything after that, so I don’t know if there were storms or not.

Nothing planned for today, other than making some brownies, and some luchador wrestling this evening. I might put pants on, I might not. I might even do laundry later, I don’t know. The day is full of possibilities to do something or nothing. We’ll figure it out as we go.

And all the science, I don’t understand it’s just my job five days a week

I’m getting pretty good at ushering Podrick out of the bed with my sleep mask on. I lift it up so one eye is out there swiveling around like a sharks eye. Alway moving, sometimes seeing. But anyways, I put Podrick out of the bedroom and crawl back into bed, and pass out completely in minutes.

If it rained in the night, I didn’t hear it. I don’t think I even heard Podrick running around. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out. I don’t think I woke up until I head Podrick had jumped onto the night stand. I woke up and looked out the window, and it looks like a scene from Silent Hill. It’s very froggy out there. You can hardly see the Quonset hut across the street.

It’s actually my Friyay today! All that stands between me and the weekend, is just a silly simple 8 hour shift. But you know what, that’ll be easy. It’s gonna be a good day, and the time will just melt away. So yeah the weekend is nigh upon us. So let’s get this started! Happy Friyay everyone!

Look in my eyes what do you see?

It was a dark and stormy night.

Actually it was. The thunder, and wind woke me up in the night. It was loud and proud. It seemed to go on for a long time. But I managed to go back to sleep. Then, I think, Podrick was playing in my night table, so I promptly took him and put him out of the room, and closed the door. He then proceeded to play with a soda cap, right at the bedroom door!

Eventually, he got bored, and he left the door alone. I fell back asleep. I think he got bored. He did destroy his ribbon that was duct taped to the shelving unit.

Work was pretty good last night. It was busy, but not overwhelming. It was me and Bing Bing. Nothing too major to report. But the stars aligned for us last night. We count the cash, and no one else comes into the store. Literally minutes after we lock the door, we’re out. I drop off the deposit, and I’m at home.

Hey, let’s have another great day, it’s almost Friyay!
