So how ‘bout them Oscar’s? Was it the slap Heard- round the world? Possibly. Chris Rock took it like a man, and was 100% professional, and carried on. Will Smith, however, looked like a crazy person. Surreal.

The weekends been pretty nice. Nice drive to CaptialCity on Saturday. Got just a couple of items. Sunday, was chore day. Chores got done. Then it was off to Shady Acres for my dads birthday dinner.

He loved his birthday present of 22lbs of peanut butter. I told him if he can eat all of it in 6 months, I’d get him another tub.

Before I left, I set up the second chromecast for him in his bedroom. Then I gave him a quick tutorial on how to use Netflix. He was blown away by the monthly fee, and that you can watch as much as you want for the monthly fee. We’ll see if he actually uses Netflix. Again, the wrong time to show him, as seeding will happen soon, and he won’t have the energy to watch anything.

But today, nothing really planned. There’s nothing I need to leave the Flat for, so I’ll just be hanging out here.

Um… mixed boneless pickles? You got me!

The road trip was a success yesterday. We went to value village, Home Depot, Michaels, and of course Walmart. I got a couple of items, nothing much, and then we turned the truck back to TinyTown.

I had a huge lunch, and didn’t make dinner until shortly after 7 I believe. I just relaxed on the couch and chatted with Crystal. After our video chat, I bushed my teeth and climbed into bed.

I passed out.

I passed out, and the alarm this morning startled me.

Nothing much planned today. Just the usual chores to do. I’ll be stripping the bed shortly to wash the sheets. Maybe I’ll put on the sheets that my mom got me last year. They aren’t fleece, just regular ones. We’ll see. I haven’t decided yet.

But for right now, just some coffee and news. Happy Sunday everyone.

Good morning party people! I’m up a little early today. The family wanted to go on a road trip to CaptialCity. I’m not one to turn down a free lunch, so I’m getting ready to go. I should receive a text around 8am telling me they’re on the way to pick me up.

I got up a little earlier to get some coffee into me, so I can be a functional member of society. It’s all good I’ll probably be in the passenger seat so I’ll be able to take some pictures out of the window.

I got up this morning and it was dark and a little chilly. It should slowly warm up throughout the day, but I don’t think it’ll hit positive temps. That’s ok, the Big Dog truck has heat – the downside of the Big Dog Truck is that the XM radio is tuned to “Willy’s Roadhouse”. Old school country.

Ok let’s get dressed and get some coffee on the inside. Happy Saturday y’all!

Trust I seek and I find in you everyday for us something new

Good morning everyone, guess what? We made it to Friyay! It’s been a long haul, but we find ourselves on the precipice of the weekend!

I got a text from my mom asking if maybe I wanted to go on a drive this weekend. Up to CapitalCity. I explained that it was between paychecks, so I had no need to go. But I said if they wanted me there, I’d come for the ride, and the free lunch. I’m sure I’ll find out sometime today.

I’ll be digging my heavier winter jacket back out of the closet, because it’s wicked windy out, and is about -14🦫 with the wind. I’m not impressed, but knew this was going to happen, so it’s ok.

The coffee is ready so I’m gonna get a cup of it. Happy Friyay everyone! Make it a fetch day!

Ice is back with my brand new invention

Good morning everyone. I slept like the dead. I don’t think I even moved once I got comfortable. Then suddenly the alarm went off, and here we are.

It’s a grey windy day out there this morning. It’s supposed to rain, or at least drizzle today sometime.

I’ll take it. It’s not snowing, so that’s a good thing for sure.

I made a yummy dinner last night – chicken Alfredo. It’s been a while since I made that, so it was really good.

But I’m gonna finish this cup of coffee and refill it. It’s almost the weekend. I can taste it!
