Back to work this afternoon.

Also in breaking news, Podrick is a menace.

But y’all already knew both those two points.

After a nice sleep, and gentle wake up, with nothing knocked over, or pulled down, shit was all over the floor. I don’t think Pippin was this bad, when she was his age.

I don’t know. He’s louder than my headphones at night. So I get to be calmed down, and anxious at the same time. I can’t tell you if the talk downs are working. I try and really pay attention to what the guy is saying, but my mind really starts to wander, and then it snaps back to what he’s saying. I had to restart the YouTube video a couple times, because I don’t think my headset has volume control. I’ll have to look at the instructions. I think I have it worked out for tonight, after consulting the instructions.

It was a pretty good day off. I went to Shady Acres at noontime to clean the stove. My dad came downstairs to help, and his knee gave out, so I helped him back upstairs, and finished cleaning the stove. I relit it, and ran to work to grab some tater tots for dinner, and came home.

I did a load of laundry, because the hearth around the stove was dirty, and I was covered. So we just had a quiet, lazy afternoon. For dinner, I made tater tots, and some cheeseburgers.

The coffee has been brewed, and the kittens have calmed. I think there’s birds out there. The sun is slowly rising. Happy Thursday!
