Gas light’s blinking on our broke down van, we’re living on truck stop burgers and fries Shawshank, October 11, 2026 Hey hey, we’re awake. I’m sleeping a lot better these last couple of days. It was a busy day. Well, parts of it were wicked busy. We got over to Shady Acres, and I got the work truck jumped and running. I got to drive it around the block, before parking it on the other side of the driveway. From there we prepared to plan to move some stuff. We just explored some of my dad’s stuff. Crystal got some ninja swords. She’ll learn by the sword. I got to take some of my dad’s many, many knives. And we managed to grab my dad’s old cell phones – 5 phones, and one iPod. I just want to make sure there’s no personal information on them. My uncle and cousin will be heading to visit my dad. My mom has been trying to gently warn them that his appearance has changed. So they’re heading to Shady Acres to do something with the camper. Then once they’re back, I’ll head over to help them find a generator. Then they’ll be heading back to Calgary. Then, mom asked us to please come over for dinner. So that’s what we’ll do. I’ll do the dishes and we’ll walk across the street and head back to the Flat. Then, Tropico. A foodtruck – painted bright red, with a white Anchor Bakes logo on it, and awning, and two picnic table in front of the food truck. Cupcakes, Coffee, and Company. Soup,… Read More
Life Cuddle with the homies watching “Stand By Me” April 4, 2024April 4, 2024 Awake. The bed did not want to release its hold on me this morning. It was a chore to roll out of bed. But I made it. Here I am. Coffee is being consumed. And the cats are either stalking around, or looking out the window. Chaucer is waiting to… Read More
