Here I am stuck in the middle with you.

Greetings and salutations you shiny and happy people. It’s a rare afternoon post from yours truly. I was up at the normal time, but decided to post after heading to SlightlyBiggerTown – you know, in case something interesting happened.

Spoiler alert: nothing interesting happened!

Aside from having to wait for a train to go by. That was about it. I didn’t even see any animals in my travels today.

I did however, but groceries, lunch, and some weed. Then got back into the truck, and drove back to TinyTown.

All in all a good couple of hours. I even remembered to switch the station back to my moms country station.

As I was just about to turn into town, something caught my eye. So much so, that I had to turn around, stop, and take a picture.

Yep. I truly don’t think there are any words for something like this.

Ok, time to kick back, and relax. I don’t have anywhere that I need to be. Happy Saturday dudes and dudettes!

Moving forward using all my breath making love to you was never second best

Good morning happy April fools day! It’s a bright sunny, breezy morning here. Since it’s April 1st, that means that I’ve been in The Flat for one year officially today.

1 year. 365 days. This year has gone so very quickly. I remember moving in. I remember dragging stuff down from Shady Acres before work in a metal cart. I must have looked pretty strange.

By April 1st I had everything in here, and could just wait for the internet guy to come. It took me being pushy to actually get him here in the day he was supposed to be. They tried to tell me that there was no one available. I told them that I had booked this appointment a month earlier, and that they had better find someone that wanted a little overtime, because I couldn’t afford to take another day out of work because they couldn’t plan properly.

Needless to say they had someone out here about 20ish minutes later.

One year wow.

I like this little place. It’s quiet, and peaceful.

Happy one year in The Flat!

And happy Friyay!

I love you. Non sum qualis eram.

About that special feeling we get in the cockles of our hearts maybe below the cockles

Good morning fellow people. It’s a bright and sunny day here. Hopefully more snow will melt. I’m always surprised when it’s this bright out. I always think that I forgot to shut off a light. But that’s not the case.

I have a nighttime checklist to make sure everything is shut off.

Only a couple more shifts and then it’s the weekend. NewNewGirl asked if I wanted this weekend off. I said yes. I’ll be covering the next two Saturdays as she’ll be on vacation in Florida.

Monday I made some curry, and made a sampler for my mom to try it. She picked it up yesterday, and she said it was really good and she liked it. She also said gramma and my dad wouldn’t like it, but she did. Next time I make some, I’ll make a little for her.

But that’s in the future. In the present, I has coffee. I hope y’all have a lit Thursday.

Just a steel town girl on a Saturday night

Good morning! Hap hap happy Wednesday. Half way through the week. Almost there! We’re almost to Friyay.

We can make it!

I again, was out like a light. I even managed to sleep ALL the way through the night. I didn’t get up once. It was amazeballs.

I’m sitting here with a cup of coffee, and watching the news. It’s grey out there. With a dusting of snow from the night before. Hopefully it warms up enough for more snow to melt.

We’ve had a taste of spring, now the people north of the Wall, demand it.

Let’s keep the big thaw happening!

Good morning everyone! I slept like the dead. Crystal was really tired so we cut our video chat short last night. After getting of the call, we chatted for another 10 minutes or so, then I brushed my teeth and climbed into bed.

I was out.

I think I got up once, but I was out until the alarm went off. I was more tired then I thought. I didn’t get out of bed until the alarm went off. Even then the sudden rising beeps confused me.

Coffee is brewing, and I’m ready to greet the day. Let’s do this!
